I no longer hate Batman & Robin....

hahaha.

You trying to defend Hulk is just like someone trying to defend B&R, so that makes you just as much an idiot.

If you don't like Hulk, that's fine by me. But to put in with the likes of B&R is moronic. Hulk wasn't the movie it should have been, but that doesn't mean it's terrible. What made it so bad in everyone's eyes was that it was promoted to be the movie it should have been. That was the only problem.

Instead of giving you a mindless action fest, which apparently what everyone who didn't like the movie wanted, they tried to make it more.

Is it the best comic book movie? No. But it's a lot better than most of them.

The Hulk wasn't terrible. In retrospect there actually were some neat action sequences, a very clear plot, and the casting was fine. For me the replay value is nill, though.

Batman and Robin is great because its so Avant-garde.
If Warhol directed a Batman movie (which he did) B&R would be it.

You know, B & R might be an abortion of filmmaking, but at least we got an incredibly awesome Smashing Pumpkins song out of it.

Batman and Robin is one of my favorite SH movie
i think its more entertaining and way more fun to watch than Batman Begins.
the cast was"almost"perfect
they had more class than any other "live action" group of superheroes so far.

How the hell is he an idiot?
I think that Joel Schumacher tried to do something similar to the 60's Tv show Batman and robin but with a little more class.
can't blame him if most idiots misunderstood him!

Batman and Robin cannot be forgiven, if not for that they might have kept the series going and there wouldn't be any dull Nolan movies.:cmad:

More class?

The 60's TV show is a classic piece of television and pop culture. And it managed to become so without Arnold Schwarzenegger bellowing one-liners or Uma Thurman pouting lame double-entendres like a drag queen.

Whether one likes camp or not, clearly Adam West is the king of camp, and George Clooney is not. 60's Batman is the best piece of camp ever. B&R is not.

No-one misunderstood him, lol. How can you misunderstand Batman & Robin? It's the most shallow, obvious movie I can think of.

^That's how I felt about BF and Seal's 'Kiss From A Rose'

Actually, I think Seal wrote that song before Batman and then they just used it in the movie, which made it a big hit, gave it a batman music video, etc.

I enjoy Batman and Robin when I just want a movie to have fun with. If I shut off my brain and just want to watch something and be entertained and quote Mr. Freeze then I watch it

Batman and Robin: The Rocky V of Batman
Batman and Robin: The Rambo II & III of Batman
Batman and Robin: The Die Another Die of Batman
Batman and Robin: The Batman and Robin of Batman

Its in the club.
