While this would be an epic thing for SDCC to do for the hardcore fans...it would be bad business for the city of San Diego. They want SDCC to grow as much as possible because that is their annual Giant Cash Cow.

However, if the Convention Center doesn't expand by 2016 both L.A. and Anaheim would host the event and if that is the case L.A. would be worse because their hotel area is terrible compare to Anaheim's Disney Motel system and Parking.

Time will tell.

If Anaheim gets ComicCon, then they'd damn well better give WonderCon back to San Francisco. That convention went from a bus ride, a commuter train, and a short walk to a 6 hour drive for me.

Can't you make your own badge? That's what a lot of scalpers do, and they don't necessarily do a great job at it either.
