Is it just me or is Gordon's persona a bit less tough in Nolan's universe? Perhaps it's because he's younger and hasn't seen the "worst of the worst" just yet. I'm not knocking Oldman either. I love him in BB.

I saw Harry Potter last night and almost completely forgot that Gary Oldman was in it. He's just so damn good at any character he plays that he just seamlessly blends in. He totally owns Gordon and does the best characterization, yet it's a totally original performance. Iconic indeed.
