"Identity Crysis" Season 2: Episode 20 Discussion Thread

So, I watched this as well this morning. Feel free to ask questions if you like, though I worry if it might become a bit frustrating for the lot of you since this is like... 3 weeks away

Which villains appear besides Venom? The summary suggested that some other villains may use the revealed identity of Spider-man by Venom...

no theres only Venom but he is really enuff here. he reveals Spidey's identity, but nobody believes that "puny" Parker is Spider-man. Ned Lee is interviewing Flash, Betty, Aunt May, Gwen, Dr. Connors and they all say they dont believe Peter is Spidey. only Eddie Brock tells Ned that. with nobody believeing, Venom battles with Spidey and unmasks him in public, but Peter manages to hide his face. after a brutal battle at Midtown High School, Peter makes Eddie drink one of the serums that turned Lizard back into Connors. the symbiote, seemingly in pain, leaves Brock, and Brock is incarcarated in ... they dont show where, but its probably Ravencroft. other things that happen in this episode, Flash continues to hit on Sha Shan and wears a Spidey costume to prove that anyone can put this on and pretend to be Spider-man. at the end, the symbiote is shown to be alive. Great episode, my fav so far.

Where is the symbiote now?

Your review actually makes me intrested in this arc. I wasn't before but its getting interesting.

Ned Lee, um, i think its not revealed whether he believes or not.
The symbiote is beneath the city, i dont know the word for this place, the city's canalizations or something.

There is constant fighting between Venom and Spidey for almost the whole episode. A lot of action there and it feels like a thrill ride. Though I must say that this incarnation of Venom has one serious flaw - the alien is completely untrustworthy. It's the second time when it leaves Eddie and makes him look like a helpless tool. They should be ....ing done, professionally.

To add on carnage899's review, I think that some of the people covered Peter by saying that he's not Spider-Man. The Connors come in mind, and also Norman Osborn looked like he at least gave it a thought. It was implied that captain Stacy believed it, but he decided that it's better if Peter hides his identity, to protect the people he loves.

sounds cool cant wait to see the episode myself once its airs in canada and i can view it some way. And we should have a thread for episode 18 since it did air for some already. And the way this looks like with that one country airing it a bit faster then canada the rest of the season will be over by the end of the month.

^ They are airing the second season in Bulgaria, where only two guys - me and carnage899 are able to watch it. I myself had doubts about it (I don't watch television usually, since I find the internet more useful and interesting) until this week when they aired episodes 19 and 20.

So, they are airing two brand new episodes twice a week in Bulgaria and once a week in Canada? Meanwhile this show won't begin airing until March in the states? Wow, we will be getting the whole season 2 before it ever airs new eps on Disney.

Basically, yeah, the US will get it pretty late. But you can always download it from the internet each week, so I don't see a problem.

date idiots at disney not launching it this month with the relaunch of toon disney into disney xd if they did that us us fans wouldnt be so far behind but hey we are like that for wolverine and the x-men canada already had the first half of the first season aired before we got it out here.

He just shoved a test tube full of the Gene Cleanser down Venom's throat. It apparently hurt the alien and it abandoned Eddie, rushing down the sewer at the school.
