It made sense to me after posting my reply...lol! I think for the role of Martian Manhunter they need another african/american actor, someone also with a deep voice and tall. I have no idea for this one though.

I wasn't comparing, those are my casting choices.
I am entitled to my opinions.

Well in addition to Gamble, the dude has already branded himself as Spawn among the fanboys. Hes still voicing Spawn animation into 2007 as well.

I dont know how well casting him as another superhero would go over.

Though I still think Cross is a better actor with more range having seen them both.

Well that's the point in acting, making people believe your are different characters. I never understood people who said they cant play other roles because the person was seen as another hero. Considering Spawn isn't that mainstream and the films wasn't that popular i don't see this as a problem either. Im not knocking your choice.

Well i hope Routh is in the film. I could care less about MOS as long as Singer is attached. As for Welling i would've liked to see him as Supes, but only if they wasn't going to use Routh.

Well if Welling is out then there is no reason for me to see this movie. I mean if they are not casting Routh (and lets remember people thats only because Bale is not doing this movie) and Welling said No then I have no need to see this movie because I don't need to see 3 Superman's running around. Routh was just fine and so was Welling.

Hey Guys/Gals

Sorry about the lack of solid Justice League news, people are being very quiet but I did get a call from an agent friend of mine from ________ just a few minutes ago who told me that as of yesterday Welling was still in negotiations.

So what has been going on? First let me try to explain a little about the New York Times article, they were wrong, almost.

Pretty simple, I have been told by various sources that this film is moving forward 100%. So is Justice League green lit? "Officially" no, why? The movie is officially in "Prep" and could stay in prep mode til about 6 weeks before cameras roll. The reason studios do this is because once a movie is "officially" green lit they have to start paying off producers and so on and so on.

By keeping it in "prep" or pre-production mode they can hold on to their cash a little longer. This happens all the time and is not new in Hollywood. Pre-production is full steam ahead with all departments working full time on the project.

In regards to Tom Welling, we have been reporting for awhile that WB execs want Welling but that it was always Gough/Millar who were causing problems, they want to be producers on the film. It's always about the dough, fair enough.

I am hearing that key roles have been filled but I haven't been able to get any confirmations of which ones.

I have read what Countingdown is reporting, sounds plausible, I think Friday may be a little pre-mature, but who knows.

Oh, almost forgot, the script is complete and has been complete for a bit, who knows maybe a review will pop online sometime soon.

Yes friends, Justice League is coming summer of 2009.
