IESB: Welling out of the running for JLA Superman

Very possible that from what she knows ,Welling is in the movie, or that the guy cast please here.

she mentionned several times that she was ready to accept another actor than Welling, if he fit the bill (from her pov )

I saw that over there as well. Its really hard to say one way or the other what she means. She did give a smilie wink when she said the casting pleased her though, so who knows.

I like him in Smallville, but you can't use him without the Smallville baggage.

It's even a bigger mess than a non Nolan Batman.

Y'know guys (and gals), as a fan of Smallville and Tom Welling, I made peace with the likelihood that it wasn't happening a while ago, but a formal announcement hasn't been made yet. If you're interested in the film - and by posting here I imagine you folks are - it might be a good idea to make peace with the very remote possibility that TW may in fact be the next silver screen Superman.

I am open to Welling as Superman but truth be told I would like to see someone else try their hand. It would be nice to see a GOOD actor handle the Man of Steel.

If he is, I could live with it but I'd prefer if it was someone else. That whole kiddie JL thing in SV throws it too far off IMO.

As you know, I did like SR and Brandon, but I don't want to see him in this either.....if no Bale, no Routh.
