If Shredder is in TMNT 2...

More a bridge to the old comics IMO, but barely. The new series sucks (Shredder is a Utrom---come on!) If they made Shredder a Utrom as a way of bringing him back I'd totally damn the film and never go see another one again. Even the clone idea in the new series was dumb as well. No Foot Mystics, no clones, no Shredder as a Utrom, I want Karai as the new Shredder. She needs to prove her worth and merit to the franchise and please cast Michelle Yeoh as her voice replacement. Zhang Ziyi can't speak English worth a ****.

I was reading interview with Munroe in Wizard or some other superhero mag and he basically admitted TMNT is just Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV(which we all already knew) he added references from all three areas of the Turtles the new series (which is why the turtles look like they're from the new series not as they did in the movies where Leo had the two straps not the single strap across his chest and Don had that long single strap across his chest to hold the bo in it's place on his back) the comic series Karia role as the foot leader and the movies with the shrine of the events from tmnt 1-3. But the question for me since TMNT is a CGI sequel to the other three movies shouldn't they explain Karai? because she was no where to be seen in the first two movies and shouldn't they explain what happen to that bald dude that was Shredder's second in command in TMNT 1 and 2. And if Shredder is back in the sequel I think they would work around the Super Shredder form or keep some elements of the super shredder.

In the sequel there's alot of explaining to do, about her history and what happen to the foot after TMNT 2: secret of the ooze was over. And I guess she does mean the actual Shredder, not her dress as the shredder. Dude fell in a back of the trash dumpster and lived after being crushed, after getting transformed into the super shredder I doubt having a dock fall on him would kill him either. I think the super Shed angle is sort of corny but it's a comic book movie so I guess the foot probably found a way to drain the mutagen out of his body and that's what he has been doing recovering from the dock falling on him and having the mutagen drain out of his system. Karai said at the end faces from the past could she also mean the return of Tokka and Razar??? If the foot made them smarter they would be harder to deal with.

[The Shredder]

The thing with Tokka and Razar, was that they were essentially created under the protest of both Eastman and Laird because of the fact that the studio wanted Bebop And Rocksteady to appear in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, and they did not particularly like how Bebop and Rocksteady were presented in the old toon, so they offered to somewhat alter the characters to make them appear cooler, and well, a little less stupid. But the studio wasnt having it, and thus Tokka and Razar was born as a compromise.

Personally, I can't say I have much interest in seeing Tokka and Razar return in any capacity.
Actually, if there is a way for Laird and company to update/reboot Bebop and Rocksteady like they originally wanted to do during the Secret of the Ooze talks, I would be more up for that than another round of Tokka and Razar. Atleast Bebop and Rocksteady were not completely dependant on Shredder as their "mommy" for christ's sake.

Yeah, Bebop and Rocksteady were a lot tougher and meaner in season one of the 87 cartoon. If they were portrayed like that in TMNT II, I would have liked that better than Tokka and Rhazar.

I guess that makes sense the Shredder's helmet was still normal when you see it in the shrine scene at the end, but it doesn't explained the items from TMNT 2 and 3 in the shrine. As for villians in the movies I just threw out there Tokka and Razar because they were bad guys in the movie series, Stockman would be cool but I don't see him to be a main villian type and Leatherhead in the 2k3 series relaunch was a ally to them. I wouldn't mind them fighting Shredder one more time or they could dig up Savanti Romero.

No, if he's going by that than the continuity is all thrown off because the time sceptor, samurai mask, and canister of ooze were all on the shelf. This movie is technically the 4th movie, but disregards the 3rd movie's villains. And if Munroe makes a sequel and Shredder comes back he'll still be Super-Shredder. The only thing that could make it work is if the ooze's after-effects wear off on human beings and returns them to their original state. That I could accept. But if Munroe were to just forget all that, leave it unexplained, and move on than he'd **** up continuity and basically take a giant leak on the franchise in my opinion.

Mccharen was the guy who did the voice for The Shredder in the 1990 TMNT live action film.
