If someone close to you was murdered what would you do, who would you become?

What would you do? Who would you become?

  • I would seek justice. Punishment.

  • I would hire a top class lawyer and sue them.

  • I would remain neutral, depressed, but neutral.

  • I would be wrecked with depression and kill myself.

You're missing what everyone is saying to you - we believe you.

Oh....

But, still as said- childhood friend vs. "no-name thug." "No-Name thug" would have killed or seriously injured. Childhood friend- restrain and only if necessary injure.

/\ The nutjob was a childhood friend who was having psychiatric problems.

You tell me if you have the balls to injure or kill your childhood friend. This wasn't some random guy.
If someone was threatening my life or the life of another, and I knew them, even if they were my mother, I'd kill them, or injure them to the point where they were no longer a threat.

This happened at the suburbs, at the guy's house. My sister, I and he were left alone.

Yeah, the guy was a friend. He's had serious psychiatric problems over the years. He attempted to commit suicide at one point a couple of months after all of this happened.

That's why I didn't kill him or want to injure him okay? I know that he's a good guy and only lost his mind for a while. I had to go crazy to try to restrain the guy and that's all.

So, no this isn't the downtown or New York City alleyway all of you guys are thinking about.

But, as said before- believe me or don't believe me- I don't fcking care.

you didn't answer my question.

Like Shadowboxing said, everyone has these outbursts, Hell I almost killed my step-father with a sword when he threw my mom onto the floor. Does that mean I'm crazy? No, it means that I had enough Adrenaline rushing in me to not run and get scared.

SB: Ever come across a scenario where you had to "face off" against a childhood friend in a similar kind of event?

And I'll add _NOIR_ to the list of those who definitely would go be the "Punisher" type.

you think you're so bad ass tempest19? your so in tune with your "dark side"? well if thats the case you would have shanked the mother ****er. i live on a military base, we have stabbings here every weekend cause ******s cant handle their liquor. stop acting like your some kind of "dark side" sith lord or something lol

****, if someone threatened by brother with a knife I guarantee I would have shanked his ass, right in the neck.

eh, I get that it was a scary situation and you went to a place you didn't expect to go. But it's ok for you to feel that way in that situation. Fortunately no one was hurt seriously. And that friend of yours needs to be put away.

I seem to be the only guy who doesn't believe you, for the simple fact that you continue to hype it up for far more than it really is.

It was adrenaline, dude. Get with it.

Not really badass, just believe that if anyone killed a member of my family. "Eye for an eye."

And Superhobo, it was one of the traumatizing events in my life- so, not trying to 'hype it up', but to me it was HUGE. Thus why it might seem as though hyping it up, while just recounting things the way I remember it.

apparently it effected him very deeply. I mean, it is a crazy situation to find yourself in, but don't act like no one else can relate.

As I say, I beat up a guy over less. You're hyping this up way beyond what it is.

How am I to know how fcked up moments in everyone's life have been?

Growing up in the suburbs, don't know anyone else who has gone through a similar type event.

City- yeah, fcked up **** happens ALOT I'd imagine. Suburbia- most probably wouldn't think of running into something fcked up.

Great to know I'm not the only one whose been through some fcked up **** though.

Yeah...

I stabbed a guy.

****.

:o

well, you didn't do the wrong thing. When lives are at stake, you need to go that dark place. A lot of people would've done the same, and hell some people would've made the situation worse. Be at peace with the fact that you stopped this guy from hurting your sister, and you didn't have to take his life. It was crazy, it was intense, let it go.:o

***** please :o

This kind of thing has happened to most people who live in the city in some shape or form regardless of who it was its a scary expirience but, saying you've been through some ****ed up **** when it happened once. C'mon.

You moved alot, but the whole step-father/father(?) that told me you've been through fcked up moments. But, still where did the majority of it happen- city type settings or sunnyside family-happy-time suburbia?

/\ Sparkle: As said before. City life- yeah, definitely. Never said otherwise.

Suburbia, from the angle I come from, once would probably be a rare thing to have a fcked up suicidal friend threaten to kill your sister's life and having to protect her.

*refers again to my last post*

Well, it happened and you'll be lucky if that's the most fcked up thing you ever have to go through.

I can't wait until he moves down to the "big bad city." Some guy'll make a pass at his girlfriend, and he'll look at the guy and say "I have been in tune with my dark side," with the most scary look on his face.

And then get gangbanged.

Um, dude- didn't say this before. But, in real life I hold alot in and have never told anyone who I know personally about this. I've only told this online as some 'nameless' guy.

So no, that wouldn't be the decision I would make. In real life, I'm more along the lines of Peter Parker or Johnny Storm than symbiote Spider-Man.

And there is no chance in hell I'd ever say anything hinting to that event around my girl friend because this is something I don't want people who I know in real life to know what happened.
