lol

what is that from!?

I don't want to replace anyone either, but in the confines of this little game, I'll say replace Hulk. He's the only one on that list who's not an official Avenger in the comics, and you could give Thor sole possession of the "brick" role on the team.

As for a replacement, I'd want the Pyms first and foremost, but since that's *two* choices, and I'm not going to either-or Giant-Man and Wasp, I'll go with Black Panther instead.

So yeah, I'd replace Hulk with Black Panther. Wanna fight about it? :argh::oldrazz:

Hulk has been an official Avenger in the comics.

BW and Hawkeye can make cameo appearances. Not too keen on seeing Pym though. We have enough geniuses on the team already.

I hate to say it guys, but Hulk is too big for the Avengers. There is a reason he wasn't a staple in the comics.

If he can control it in the pivotal moments every time it becomes cheap. The idea is it is not meant to be controlled. It is about Banner coming to peace with it and suppressing it. Only use it when his hand is forced. If that happens every single time in the main battle, it completely misses the point of the character.

Hulk can not be a staple character. If they don't want to do another solo film so be it. But don't trivialize the Hulk. Worst thing you can do for the character.

I say let him go to the Far East or Africa and practice medicine for a while.

Hulk is an honorary Avenger. He left the group literally immediately after "joining" in Avengers #1, and promptly became an *enemy* of the Avengers. And later joined That Other Supergroup (that no one under age 30 remembers), The Defenders.

And is currently in the new Avengers book by Bendis & Bagley. :bh:

Any excuse to see Hank and Janet. I know that this is too much 'Community', maybe, but can you imagine how awesome and perfect Joel McHale and Alison Brie would be as HANK and JANET???

I wouldn't put much credence into the new issues. Probably written to be the next big comic book adaptation. Spiderman and Wolverine are pretty much on every team at this point. I don't read comics anymore so I can't tell you for sure. Maybe this stuff has grown on me, but it's good to feel like a kid again every now and then.

Hulk is one of the few characters that packs enough punch to be a major blockbuster. Thor failed to be a blockbuster as did Cap. That's why Marvel took them out of the summer slots. That's not to say Hulk can carry a movie himself, but with a good supporting cast I think he can. The Incredible Hulk is a bad barometer but also a mediocre film that could have been vastly improved upon.

Hulk and Iron Man is about as big as it gets. I think you need to scale it down a bit and cut the cord with the Hulk for a while.

I'm an old fart in his 30's and I don't read mainstream superhero comics anymore, but it is beyond ******ed that the Editorial Fascists put Spider-Man and Wolverine on the Avengers. Makes ZERO sense. Why don't they change the name of the team to 'THE BOX OFFICE SQUAD'.

To me, the one of the best things about the Marvel Universe opening up is that we might get to see more fun, second-string heroes enter the stories.

McHale and Brie for the Pyms!!

I'll cop out and choose Maria Hill.

She wasnt that bad she had a very small role ...Id be very upset if they got rid of anyone and i feel like they dont have to add anyone for the Avengers 2..only one id add is Ant dude but after that it is good the way it is you dont need all the others Avengers honestly I feel like the real avengers are

Captain America
IronMan
Ant Man
Hulk
Hawkeye
Widow
Thor

I really hope they keep all the actors to

I could see Hawkeye getting replaced because he had the least screentime and Jeremy Renner has taken on potentially two other franchises now. However, given that he had little screentime this movie or development for that matter, I'd like him to appear in at least one more. I could live without Thor appearing in the next one.

I voted Black Widow.

BUT most likely they will try to keep the same lineup as much as possible.

Edit: plus additions

And for the record, I like Thor. I prefer him to Captain America or Hawkeye. However, you can't do The Avengers without the former and the latter needs to get his due. Thor has his own franchise and would be obviously very hard to get a hold of in a crisis. Therefore, I could live without him appearing in the next movie.

The SHIELD agent playing Galaga. That irresponsible bastard's got to go. :argh:

Yeah. And as much as I hate to say it, MCU is relying as much on modern comics & writers (particularly Ultimates) as they are on the 616 classics.

And for the record, I *don't* want to see Hulk get kicked off the team in the MCU. I'm just saying for purposes of this little hypothetical exercise, there's more logic (in terms of classic comic-book canon, too many "bricks," "doesn't play well with others...at all," "timebomb" etc.) in dropping Jadejaws if *any* of them have gotta go.
