I would probably go. It'd probably be f***in' hilarious.

I'd probably go too. But it would really depend on whether I knew who was going or not.

I would go , but only if toonth didn't try to steal my soul.

Pfft you'd go just to see that fight to the death that never materialized. You'd also go to sell us some crazy kind of maple syrup.

some of the pools now go European style now, IE: topless :D

Can you imagine the looks and what some of the virgin hypers do if they saw that? :hehe:

Why is it called European stlye? Vast parts of Europe are far too cold to go topless. Learn so bloody geography you damn yankies :cmad:

This may come as a shock to you, but there are places in Europe south of Scotland that actually receive sunlight without heavy overcast and wind.

If i went, i'll be the first one to be recognised lol

All expenses paid and I've got someone to look after my daughter while I'm gone/during the off week where she's with her Mum..? Hell to the yes!

This crossed my mind earlier today while I was doing this dishes (don't ask, random thinking) and the idea of a SHHype meet up really interested me. Now I know a few Hypesters have met up before at Comic-Con and know each other in person and such, but I'm talking everyone at one place kickin' maxin' actin' all cool with other Hype members, would you go, given chance?* I know I would, I guess I've become "comfortable" with enough Hype members on here to go and see what was up.

*Chance: Someone completely paid for your trip, hotel, food and other things you lil sillies would want to get.

Not trying to be critical, but threads with this same topic come up every year or so.

Well considering that you said someone else would be paying all the expenses, then it's an easy yes. Someone would have to be idiotic to pass up a free vacation.

^^ This.

As long as it's not in the Deep South, yes.

WTF? If it was near me you wouldnt come?

Edit...you arent saying that bc you are black and you think the Deep South is full of rednecks, right? I mean, you do realize that a LOT of the cities here, including the one I live in, are majority black, right?

Well, Fine! We don't want your kind down here anyway...

Just kidding. You're a swell guy. I'm going to DragonCon here in Atlanta in a few months. Any of you Atlanta folks want to meet up?

Wait I spellt that wrong. It should say

Well, fine! We don't want your kind down here NO way.

Hmmm...when is that Atlanta Dragoncon?

You better show, fo.

.

It's labor day weekend September 3-6, 2010.

I love the south. Most others think we're still banging our cousins and stuff. When it's really only the non-blood relate cousins. And only the purty ones too. You know the ones with purty teeth. That way it's not interbreeding.

ATL is still poppin I'm sure. I've even been to a Dragoncon (2004) it was fun-ass-hell...the time spent (and some of the time NOT spent:o) on the costume details was just...

1. a lot more black folks is into comics than I ever thought...but I'm from Indiana
2. IMO some most posters here don't seem to ummm...thrive socially in certain atmospheres.

I mean I can talk Kilowog and Iron Man 2 all day, but at some point I'm going to be found at the club...or bar.

yes strip bar.

Hmm. I may have to talk to JStorm about us making the short trip to do this.

More than likely, yes. I've met a couple others on here at a Con last year, and we had a lot of fun, though we haven't had a chance to hang since though I know we all want to. Hopefully something can come up soon. I also met my best friend and roommate here, so that's a plus too. There's quite a few others I'd like to meet on here, though also some I'd definitely steer clear of.

It's the excessively bejeweled teeth, the Dirty South rap music, my fear of becoming a social ostrich for saying something too agnostic, the rarity of Chipotle Mexican Grills (though in all fairness, that's even worse in the Northwest), and yes it's also the rednecks.

But mostly it's the heat. Put me in a place too hot, and I start flopping around on the floor with my mouth gaped open like a fish. It's sad, really.

Well, we definitely have the heat here...humidity too, making it feel about 10-15 degrees hotter.
And of course there are bejeweled grills and rednecks, but it just really depends on where (what city) you are.

As far as the lack of Chipotle, we do have plenty of Moe's southwest grills (average) and in my town we have a few Barberitos...which is like Chipotle, but better (trust me).
