What members of the Justice League should be in the Movie?

I'm disapointed that Hawkgirl won't be in it. I loved the JLU version of her character.

I'd like to see Dr. Fate in a sequel...but I'm not holding my breath.

 

i wish they would substitute aquaman for either zatanna or black canary, but i guess wonder woman's enough woman for the team

 

yea for right now we pretty much know it is superman, batman, wonderwoman, aquaman, martian manhunter, the flash(barry allen and Wally west), and green lantern(john stewart). Yea it would be cool if they dropped aquaman from the team and brought in another female character. I dont really know to many of the league members from the comcs, only know of people they used in the jlu cartoon.

For a first movie I think will be awesome see
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and Flash
As a sequel the aditions of Aquaman, Hawkgirl and Zatanna will be awesome

 

The think Aquaman could be replaced because seriously, what use is the guy on land? Sure, your useful if a freaking ship is sinking but what good are you when a skyscraper is on fire? Yeah, the dolphins will come in real handy then.

I also feel sorry for JL members who can't fly, it really looks pathetic when they have to be carried off by some one else, and it can't be good for their self esteem also. t:

Hawkgirl is lame,Hawkman always should have been a member but thanks to Mr."I hate Hal Jordan and Hawkman" McDuffie that never happened.

Hawkman has always been one of the big guns.

 

He's incredibly strong, he has a harpoon hand, his skin is strong enough to support the great pressure of being in deep sea water so it makes him less vulnerable to damage, he is an excellent fighter hand to hand or with weapoms and he has access to Poseidon's Trident which has all sorts of nifty magical properties...and he can communicate with sea creatures, which is handy if he's on land but there is water somewhere near by...I personally would be afraid of anyone who could summon a giant squid.

 

PS, back on topic.....I think the first JL film should have....

I know the last two aren't even umored to be in, but I think they are pretty darn intergral to the league and should show up at least once or twice....but if not, the first 7 for sure.

Well, for one he actually has superhuman strength. In the books I own I've seen him tip a tank, lift a car, a bus, he lifted half a cityblock underwater, and even swung a huge crane into a sea serpent. He's also manhandled torpedos. In one isue he help firefighters on land by lifting a building from the base foundation while they sprayed him with water. With water he's at superman level, without he's at wonderwoman level. He even manage to take on the JLA once. He fought them out of atlantis in the PAD run I think.

He's a very capable telepath too. He linked up with MM to take out the white martians, and even managed to hang with despero. He even went toe to toe with Lobo andgot in some good hits before a stand still was reached. His skin is very dense to withstand very heavy damage. it was discovered in the justice series that he had a somewhat regenerative ability. Brainiac took out a part of his brain and could still use his telepathy.

He's managed to even surprise deathstroke in a quick skirmmish. He even fought trident. who was basically a god, he's the son of poseidon. Also at one point he was able to absorb moisture. So if someone tried to hit him they would lose energy and would alomost become dehydrated(why in the hell didn't they keep that), hell even the young guy they have as aquaman is pretty strong, he managed to whoop on Vandal Savage.

He's also strong enough to withstand powerful blasts of energy and heat.

I also agree with GNR that it's a shame Hal and Hawkman didn't get the treatment they deserved. They should've been featured on the show alot more.

Hate to sound like a broken record,but JLA Year One was a rare instance of a writer getting what makes Aquaman awesome.Along with Justice,Aquaman has never been written with more grandeur.

 

you think aquaman is useless when he's not in water, so that's why he shouldn't be on the team. That's all there is. No jest. Just an opinion that is based on character that isn't well informed. Aquaman can do anything when written well. Just read Justice.
