I hope all the costumes will be like in the comics, hopefully BatMan will get his yellow oval back, that plain Bat looks too dull. And it has nothing to do with stealth, that yellow oval's no big deal, usually when he hides he pulls his cape over it anyway.

That oval was all his own, it said Batman, it was unique like Superman's shield, now it is just a drab bat that looks like a generic halloween decoration.

Either way he wouldn't be the right colors for stealth to begin with. Ninjas for example are all about stealth, but they never use black for night; they use gray. Black is...well too black. They wouldn't be able to hide as well.

So anyone who wants to argue about the oval making him too revealing...he isn't wearing the right color to begin with.

That "updated" Wonder Woman costume is ******ed.

-The tiara actually at least looks functional, but it's also clunky and ugly. It will also do jack **** when the rest of the costume is so idiotically designed.

-Nose ring, wtf?

-They completely exposed her midriff, and separated her top into three different pieces barely tied together with string. Easily torn off, gives less coverage, and looks ****ty.

-Open toe sandals give less protection than boots.

-Instead of star-spangled panties, she has a long-ass loin cloth flapping around between her legs. Can easily get caught on something, and will give a free view of her private parts whenever the wind blows (and there doesn't look like there's any panties underneath, you can even see the edge of her crotch).

You're absolutely Right. These are larger than like extraordinary fictional characters. People shouldn't be so concerned with realism when a man can Fly or run at super speed. If you are then you're missing the whole freaking point. Superheroes wear bright colored uniforms and stand out from the crowed, that's why they're SUPER!

You're also very Correct. The X-Men costumes could have been easily adapted for the big screen without putting them all in the latest Biker Attire. I felt like they should have all been riding Harleys or something.

The Thing to remember with these Superhero teams is that most of them are INDIVIDUALS with vastly different personalities and super abilities. A HUGE part of their Dynamic and Charm is that EACH character is different and special in their own way! Their attire reflects this! The X-men very well could have been done in varying colors, like yellow and blue. Last time I checked they ALL rocked something very different in color and design.

I Blame singer for the whole dark leather X-Men and bland Superman costume fiasco, but don't get me started on that atrocity.

I agree. Those costumes could've been done. I also agree with Justice Bringer on naked woman, lol.

I also agree with Trusty-Sidekick with the aquaman outfit by Jim Lee, but in JLA 12 it looks like the original aquaman is back in the aquateen outfit. I think they can go classic but how will the orange and green look? Most costumes seem to be able to be brought to the screen except Arthurs. Maybe if they tone the brightness down alittle? Nah, Ross' work looks like real people are wearing those costumes so the look could still work. If they go for an amor look Then they could use the OYL upper body part and just go with the orange chainmail look with long sleeves. Keep the pads and make them bright gold with jewels and get rid of the gloves and keep the gauntlets. Make them golden and filled with jewels too. The pants could be waterbearer pants because they look like his skin and they have a golden belt and golden trim on the sides of the pants.

Keep the pads and make them gold with jewels, same with the gauntlets.

Those pants.

His hair has mostly been short so they could keep it that way. But it has grown alittle. Most recently Artie Joe has long hair like the peter david aquaman, but they showed the original aquaman in jla 12 with short yet long hair in the first picture, except it's not in front of his face. Either version could work really well, but they might go with long but I'd rather have medium or short.

That 'ultimate' Superman design is really cool, but unfortunately people wouldn't accept it in the movie.

All they gotta do is: Make the symbol about 2-inches taller & wider, make the blue a darker blue, open up the neck a little more, and the red less muted, especially in the symbol and cape. And fix the hair.

SR suit is the Golden Age suit...bet you didn't know that!! huh? huh? how bout them apples!

The Batman design especially...

It walks the line between what the movies tried to do...actual armor-like appearance, the practicality...

and the classic elements of the comics...Color scheme etc.

I'd just add lenses...

id like to see many of the costumes use the "spandex" material used for spider-man. that seems like the best way to get the more athletic form out of an actor.

Superman- they went in the right direction with SR, just keep the shield flat so i can be bigger on his chest and give him the broad collar and dont dull the colors so much.

Batman- i prefer the Begins costume over TDK, but would like to see a brighter grey not so "techy" looking

Wonder Woman- her i would really like to see in her real costume, as long as they stay away from the american motif. keep the tiara, bracelets, and the breast plate (use either the double W or a mythical looking eagle) keep the blue undies (no stars) and simple red boots. Now for a final battle situation go for more the greek warrior look- battle skirt, shield, maybe more elaborate head dress

Aquaman- like many people, i really dont care for aquaman (ask my brother). but i do recognize his presence within the DC universe and his importance to the league therefore i do have an opinion of his look. because he is royalty (i hope they explore that in the film) he should have a variety of looks (like he does)- in the water, just the green pants with the special gold branching trim he sported. on the surface, the classic costume to look proper/appropriate (maybe lose the gloves). final battle situation, the fish gill-armor look the new aquaman has.

Flash- stick close the his costume maybe without the ear wings, and possibly give him a visor/goggles

Green Latern- which ever latern the cast, give him his costume (personally id like to see kyle or hal...but mostly i wanna see kyles costume before ion.

Martian Manhunter- they really need to play up the "alien" of him. i never understood why he was a shapeshifting alien who turned into a green man with a "fivehead" to blend in with humans. do something similar to OYL and go extreme (look at Abe Sapien in hellboy for inspiration)

I love a busty and sexy WW as much as the next male teenage comic fan, but that outfit is wrong. WW is a powerful and brave warrior woman who stands for justice and equality. She has little girls and moms looking up to her as a strong and positive role model. She's sexy because she is strong, independent, can hold her own, and can stand up to the men. How can she go from Scarlet Johanson to Britney Spears?!

Flash should have a Daredevilish look and color. And GL should wear leather with a plate that glows (have it CGI)
