If the JLA gets Made how would you design the Costumes?????

Why is everyone so concerned about WW's costume when the obvious way to go is to have her wearing absolutely no clothes at all?

I say stick to the JL cartoon way for ceremonial have like a white dress and for combat keep the regular starry panties and all.

I don't mind those "Ultimate" designs too much, but there's a couple things I'd fix on'em before considering using those as the basis for any sort of live-action look:
* Superman's gotta have his classic S-shield.
* Wonder Woman's midriff needs to be covered, and the loincloth just for some reason doesn't look as good as it should. Go back to panties, I think.
* And no two ways around it - E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial-Manhunter's gotta go. Stick with the current "new look" for J'onn.

Other than that, I don't think they're all that bad.

The Classic way

I don't want any of that Ultimate crap .

Since it is CG animation, as of right now, I don't think any changes or any real changes need to be made.
Since there is no real actors on screen, and just CG models, they can make the characters look exactly like this. And since it is CG no one will really question their costumes like they would if they were real actors. People are more forgiving or cartoon characters since it isn't reality.

The only changes that really need to be made, I think, are to Wonder Woman's costume. But nothing major.
I like these ideas.

reposting this because this looks to be the best Wonder Woman costume ever created for the charcter :

that ridiculous Ultimate costume makes her appear like a barbarian, not to mention it totally insults her franchise and everything she stands for.

I think Wonder Woman's costume should be treated more like armor, and should look basically the same but with a real Roman emphasis and less swimsuit look to it.

I also don't want any ultimate DC costumes in the film. I'd rather see the real DC versions in the film.

This is kick ass thread! I like the ideas floating around. I recently came up with my idea of a Supes costume for the sequel to Returns assuming it happens. I would also want this for the Justice League movie though. I didn't change that much really. Changed the cut of his undies, fixed the neckline, made the symbol bigger and glossy looking, shorter cape, and went with the belt Gary Frank used in that sketch as seen in Wizard. Oh, and colors are different of course.

Funny. Speed skating and track are what I looked at for reference when I did my own Flash suit.

Bunk your Flash and Superman costume designs are fantastic! You should really be working for DC Comics or the people that are doing the film. I look forward to seeing your sketches for the other characters most of all Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman's look should have the WAR SKIRT, somewhat reminiscent of Xena's battle armor!

I don't really like this one that much. It's too clunky and looks more like Xena than Wonder Woman.

I like that version of Hippolyta's Wonder Woman costume, but it just a bit too busy looking.

So far I like this one best:

I really like it because it looks a lot like Diana's original classic outfit but it looks new at the same time. The one thing I'd change would be to have a cluster of small stars on the skirt.

They had better give each costume its own flavor. I hope they don't all look like they are made out of the same material like Ross's designs. They are going to have to make some changes because tho because some of those just won't work on screen.
