    Happy Independence Day, Guest!

Sequels If they used The Green Goblin in the sequels, he should look like this....

Imo, ultimate norman osborn and a 616 (tweaked/ adjusted) goblin would be perfect

The more I think about it, the more I'd just like to see this, straight up.

Looking at all of these other suggestions, I see nothing but unnecessary complication. To me, those designs betray the character. Keep it simple, snappy, and cartoony. No sense in trying to grit up a character who should act a little like a cartoon no matter what he's wearing. Medium be damned. Go Classic Goblin. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't.

No offense, but classic Goblin would look very....flamboyant on the big screen. It needs some adjustments.

i hate sounding "like batman does everything better and spiderman needs to be more like him"... but a more...(dont judge me) REALISTIC, sadistic goblin would be cool for me:)

if you highlight it and drag it to the html bar it works! :D lol its because i had it saved in my pictures file and i right clickd it and pressed open with google chrome and it doesnt work the same:/

Actually it doesn't work, because it's a file from YOUR computer. Upload the photo to imageshack or photobucket.

Thunderbolts Goblin would be the best way to go, as I've said before.

It's the classic look but more realistic & evil looking.

i LOVE it
:) would this not be awesome on screen.
i have a vision for her death scene as well. check out the maybe section. the last post!

there is another amazing picture i would like to show you all but its too big and i dont want to make this thread page all weird.

an easy way is to open it in paint...click image/stretch skew and put 50/50 or smaller if needed on the horizonal and vertical...save it and upload it!

ok. i hope none of you have seen this already. lol but he draws the green goblin exactly how i want him.

Very dark and creepy. I like it. I still want the mechanical design, though :o

what i definetly want is for them to hint at why norman dresses like a goblin. i want it to be around halloween also. because the goblin is a halloween centered character design. hence the pumpkin bombs and bat glider and batarangs and bag of tricks. maybe norman can say something like, " halloween is my favorite holiday" or something like that.
i want them to make pumpkin bombs iconic.

I believe his flamboyant costume would only benefit the character's dark nature. Think of it in the terms of an evil, murderous clown. (Not that one.) Bright, happy, and colourful in appearance, but frightening in what he does.

His comic book costume would be laughed at on screen, tbh. I mena, yes, Stan Lee did mention in ASm issue 14 that Goblin's costume was meant to look goofy and misleading, but What works in comcis doesn't always work on film. That's oen of the reasons I didn't mind the Goblin costume in S-M1 (2002) or the other design they had planned. Don't get me wrong, I love the comic book Goblin suit, but I'm not sure if it would work on film.

The suit he had in Ellis' T-Bolts would be perfect. Still very much classic Goblin, but a more high tech, armoured looked to it.

He NEEDS a mask that allows facial expressions of the actor to shine through. Like the Orcs from LOTR. Not a Power Ranger-eqsue mask.

See, I do really like the first Spider-Man, but I thought getting an actor like Dafoe, who has such a creepy face, then giving him a mask that covers that all up was kinda stupid.
