It's more the helmet itself that resembles a Power Ranger villain. But yeah, the comparision is a bit out there, even if I, as I said, can see their point.

EDIT: Oh, and btw, the Batman design in The Dark Knight is pretty bad IMO.

Scroll all the way up, and click on User CP. Once you're there, look on the left hand side, under the various options you'll see "Settings & Options", under that should be "Edit Signature"... from there you know what to do.

The "power ranger" comparison comes from the fact that they both look like plastic action figures. I HATE SM1's Goblin design. It boggles my mind that the some of the same people who call foul about Spidey's TASM suit say they don't get the SM1 Goblin hate.

Well, yes actually. If the Green Goblin in SM1 was a darker green with some deep and dark purple accented in, he wouldn't look nearly as ridiculous as he does. And the overall design and fluidity of the suit just looks weird. Batman's suit's design isn't nearly as cluttered and ridiculous.

It's not the suit that bugged me, it was strictly the mask.

You get someone like Willem Dafoe. A guy who is great at using facial expressions with his acting (and who looks straight up creepy) and you cover his face up with a plastic looking mask that takes that whole aspect of his performance out of the equation.

Dumb move. He should of had prosthetics, like the Orcs in LOTR.

Troy, I do know that, which is why the color matters. On film, you rarely see the details of the batsuit. In SM1 you got a nice, clear, overly-vibrant look at the suit every time it came on screen.
