Assuming Fox fires Tim Story, (which isn't likely), the chances of them hiring anyone on that list are about the same as my chances of getting a date with Alicia Keys . . .





. . . and having my wife be "cool with that."




I would love to see what some of those directors would do, but realistically, Fox is likely to hire some TV director or something if they do go with a new one.

TOM HANKS! He did a great job with THAT THING YOU DO, knows the FX end since he produced EARTH TO THE MOON, and he is a HUGE Marvel fan! On the Tonight Show, when asked what it was like being a director, he said it was like being BLACK BOLT - your smallest whisper is devastating! THAT'S the guy who should be doing the FF!

I thought they did an alright job, but it just didn't feel like Fantastic Four enough to me and I think Reese Witherspoon would be a better Invisible Girl, sue me.

I just bought the extended edition of FF and after watching that and some making of features, and I can see more where you guys are coming from with the cast. The cast is much better than i remember, and all of the roles seem to fit. Although I still think that Reese would be a good if not better Invisible Girl, but Jessica Alba is quite good.

I agree with Brad Bird, but I would change the cast.
...hm maybe Mark Wahlberg for Mr. Fantastic? I don't know but Tom Hanks doesn't quite fit, and I seem to be one of the few people that like that the Thing wasn't CGI, I also think that the casting for Ben and Johnny was quite good the first time around.
