Who should reboot the Fantastic Four franchise? Discuss.

My dream team to reboot the Fantastic Four franchise would be:
Directed by: JJ Abrams
Produced by: JJ Abrams, Jon Favrou, Avi Arad, and James Cameron
Written by: Jon Favrou, Stan Lee, JJ Abrams, and Alex Proyas
And Marvel Films should win the rights to make the movie but Fox can distribute the film still(Like the deal with Paramount and Marvel with Iron Man)

Starring:
Mr.Fantastic/Reed Richards-Collin Hanks
Invisible Woman/Sue Storm-Bryce Dallas Howard
The Thing-Michael Chiklis(He was perfect casting in the first two films!)
Human Torch/Johnny Storm-Chris Pine
Victor Von Doom(Not a villain in this movie, set up for the sequel)-Viggo Morttenson
Mole Man-Bob Hoskins

The movie would be an origin story in a way but without dragging the origin throughout the whole movie, the origin part would represent 1/3 of the movie. The movie would be a 3 act play. The first part being the origins of the Fantastic Four. The second part being the main fight wtih Mole Man. The third part being the four coming together as a team and establishing the Fantastic Four and setting up for the sequel as Victor Von Doom begins his experiments that transform him into Dr.Doom

Remove Avi from the producers list and replace him with Kevin Feige, please.

I still say 1/3 of a new FF movie is too much screen time to devote to something that was covered pretty well the first time out. Just do the credit/montage like TIH and get on with the movie!

Paul Verehoeven fits perfectly IMO. He'd obviously need to tone down the violence but his campy sorta take on sci-fi in Robocop, Starship Troopers, and Total Recall is perfect. Ralph Winter just locked him down on The Surrogates which is his first Hollywood Production in awhile. So of course I sent the suggestion to Ralph when I found out.

I think I saw that on facebook. Loved ROBO and STARSHIP, but I am not sure about him for FF. I still think Tom Hanks, a huge Marvel fan, would be a good choice. I could see Paul on something like HULK or THOR...and I am sure he would give us an interesting FF.

director - Brad Bird

Reed Richards - Tom Hanks
Sue - Elizabeth Banks
the Torch - Eric Christian Olsen (Fired Up)
The Thing (cgi) - Jason Statham
Dr Doom - Daniel Day-Lewis

Robert Zemeckis should direct the FF reboot.
