If we get a DC Cinematic Universe, what movies would you want?(other than the usual)

Ok we know that EVERYONE wants Wonder Woman, Flash, Batman/Green Lantern reboot what other movies would you want to see? This is assuming the DCCU becomes just as good as the MCU(Marvel Cinematic Universe)?

Personally I want to see:

• Captain Marvel/Shazam
• Hawkman
• Justice Society
• The Legion of Superheroes
• The Suicide Squad
• New Gods

I'd like to see most of these characters appear in some form or another. I think that Shazam and Hawkman would be the most likely for solo film potential. I see both as coming later in the game, around Phase 3 or so. I want the Justice Society to appear in the second Justice League film which in my mind would have the League teaming with the Society of Earth 2 against the Crime Syndicate of Earth 3.


The Suicide Squad I think should be done as a tv series. I would use it as a darker counterpart to Marvel's SHIELD series. You could easily transplant some second tier villains from the films to anchor the series (for instance, Captain Boomerang from a Flash film, Deadshot from a Batman film).

With Legion of Superheroes I think the best strategy is to introduce them in a future Superman film. I'd introduce the concepts of New Genesis in a Justice League, Superman or Wonder Woman film before possibly spinning them off.

I'd be interested in seeing ... New Gods might be changed to 'Fourth World' to avoid upsetting people who are easily offended.

New Gods given the full treatment would be great too, to see Apokolips and New Genesis and the war between them.

New Gods/Fourth World

My fear is they'll probably throw away most of the incredible Kirby Fourth World mythology, and instead just shoehorn Darkseid and some elements into one-note villains in a Superman, JL or WF movies. Somewhat like Johns did in his JL.
Use bits of it and characters as "guests" to promote their other properties, Instead of actually recognizing and adapting the Fourth World as it's own epic sprawling standalone mythology.
With "the Pact" and it's progeny characters at it's heart and as the leads in a franchise.

God Yes!!

I've just got done reading Book 1 & 2 of Alan Moores run and it's amazing!

Those stories would make a great horror style movie.
