What DC hero would you like to see brought to the big screen? Personally I'd to see The Flash & Wonder Woman get their own films, but there are others I want as well. Here are some of my choices:

Shazam
The Metal Men
Aquaman
Martian Manhunter
Hawkman

All their best, most popular characters (except Batman) are going to bomb. WB/DC has no Idea how to approach or handle them.
So I decided to hold out for their worst:

DC's not-so-magnificent 7 cast- http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/6568/superfriendsthemotionpi.jpg
(figure if I post it enough, someone will have to make this movie just to keep me from posting it again)

They can't screw that up.

Biased since I've got a 'take' on it I could pitch - Aquaman, lol. I really think given the right approach, audiences would love it.

Martian Manhunter wouldn't be too hard.

But Aquaman is a lot more ambitious. I wouldn't mind seeing either, if done right.

The TV pilot had some issues, but there's some stuff there that could work quite well. Just need to give him an epic backstory (throw in the human parent, Atlantis, sea monsters, etc). And do poke fun at some of the jokes made over the last 50 years.

Flash and Captain Marvel to me.
I don't think it will happen, though. :/

DCnU's Animal Man.

Aquaman and Wonder Woman have the highest potentials of being awesome.

Odds wise I would say...

Flash: Still a big name. Will likely be made.
Martian Manhunter: Not a big name, but a decent movie could be made with a relatively low budget.
Aquaman: The character has become something of a joke, but he does have name recognition, and there's a lot to work with.
Wonder Woman: Could go horribly right or horribly wrong. Set back a bit by the failed pilot.
Captain Marvel: Not a big draw. The character's nature would make a demographic hard to pin down.

wondy followed by the flash. captain marvel with teen titans in a incredible vein would do very well i think.

Other than the obvious (Flash & Wonder Woman), I'd say:

Captain Atom/Monarch (baddest mofo)
Aquaman
Martian Manhunter

1. Wonder Woman!

Then Flash, Aquaman, Blue Beetle (Jaime), Teen Titans movie. I think young superheroes could be really successful and super cool

Besides the obvious (Flash and WW):

Aquaman (He doesn't appeal to me, but I get his appeal)
Martian Manhunter
New Gods
Metal Men
Green Arrow
Steel

Flash
Aquaman
Martian Manhunter
Hawkman
Green Arrow
Cyborg
Steel Reboot
Swamp Thing Reboot

The Flash, clearly.

I agree with that, sadly, sadly, sadly. I'm desperate having a good Dc Comics film. My opinion is that this fake-needed but money generating "realism" kills any other innovation a superhero movie could be. I'm not a big Marvel Fan, but I dig their films, I think they just got the right tone. DC-Warner is blocked between comics-like movies (Ironman, Thor,etc...) and the demystified-realistic movies like dark knight.

Honestly, I hate the word "realism" in this context. It gets horribly, horribly misused. The vast majority of movies, especially CBMs, shouldn't seek realism; they should seek *verisimilitude*. Its not about consistency with the real world, its about consistency with its own world.

Even worse, "realism" is often used as a codeword, not for verisimilitude, but for "grim and gritty."

Aquaman, he is King of 3/4 of the earth. Nuff said.

Another character I'd say is Lobo and I read somewhere he might get his own film,I'm a big Lobo fan But I never thought he'd get his own movie and especially not before people like Flash/Aguaman/WonerWoman&others!!

realism is a ******** ass term brought up by nolanites to justify his anti JL stance. what the **** is real about any of those bat films? that somehow an orphaned billionaire would become both a master martial artist and the worlds greatest detective before the age of thirty? or how the joker took over gotham in a week? c'mon son.

as far as I'm concerned, they don't know how to go about it. that's what they're afraid of. ****ing it up, and having bats retain some of that bombed stank from a possible JL film, and having that kill the franchise. the only other proven dc franchise was supes, and after the debacle of returns, they decided on ****ing zod again.

Nothing actually"realistic"about the Nolan Bat films..But neither is it stylized in fantasy like how Batman is actually suppose to be,Make the Bat world&Gotham like Returns with characters close as possible as the comics and it'd pretty much be perfect!!!
