Who here would like to see a "short" Wolverine?

Here the deal on this subject. Comicbook Wolverine is 5'3 that's his height and the fact that artist do not draw him that height shows a lack of respect for the character and a lack of ability to tell dramatic stories through their art..( because they change his height to depict certain moods )...and is a complete lack of judgement on the parts of the editors who's job it is to insure the characters are true to form.

Jackman as Wolverine I thought he did a great job and I am pleased he go the role because it exposed him to us and if he did not get it we would not know who he is, but still i would not have cast him. I would have gone with someone shorter and then used camera angles and tricks much like Jackman did in the first one. I often wonder what it would have been like if Dougray Scott could have played him like he was suppose too.

My only saving grace for movie Logan is that Jackman did a great job and I look at it as an alternate reality but the "REAL" Logan is 5'3 so repsect that fact.

There's nothing to respect. Height is one of the least important parts of a character. Sure, it would have been nice to get someone shorter, but Jackman has done a great job nonetheless and there's nothing "disrespectful" about it. It's not a big deal.

How about a tall Puck? Or a short Colossus?

I don't see it as a big deal, especially since Hugh's so great in the role. Anyway, Wolverine is almost always drawn as atleast 5'7"-5-8" anyway, so the difference isn't that huge.

You guys shouldn't be hung up on "official" heights and weights anyway, because they're total crap. Bobby Drake is still listed as 5'8" 135 lbs, for god's sake. That would make him the equivalent size of the average 8th grader.
