What If The Scorpion Became A Super-hero Instead Of Going Insane

What If... Outlaws!

What if a small, seemingly insignifigant thing had changed in Peter Parker's life: his major. What if, instead of Genetics, Peter Parker studied Psychology, specifically Criminal Psychology.

Peter begins applying his lessons as he learns them on the streets. Soon he isn't fight so often as he is talking his foes down. they agree to turn themselves in. He manages to get Doc. Sampson to agree to help them plea bargain out on community service. Soon a whole crew of reformed Super-Villains have nothing to do. they have amazing powers, but no out let. some, like the Rhino, need someone directing them. the smartest among them, Adrian Toombs, aproaches Spider-man, explaining this problem to him.

Soon Spider-Mand finds himself incharge of a team of super-powered vigilantes. and when His dark symbiote begins to assert control over his mind, it isn't Reed Richards he goes to, but Dr. Octavious, Adrian Toombs, Herman Schultz, and Dr. Ohnn. They don't remove the symbiote but subdue it to Peter's control. he merges with the Symbiote with his mind in tact. his relationship with Felicia takes off as she joins his band of Outlaws. Spidey and the Outlaws are left after the Heroes of Earth die in the Onslaught tragedy. they over shadow the Thunderbolts (As a cute side note the GLA takes the name "Bad Boys" to tie in with the Outlaws), thus wiping out their hopes of world domination. The Outlaws bring the Thunderbolts to justice quickly and with ease the Rhino takes Atlas with help from Sandman. Shocker and Vulture double team Mach IV. Jolt is over powered by Electro. Songbird is over muscled and out moved by the Spot, Hydro-Man, and the Rocket-Racer. Spider-Man and his greatest allies, Kraven the Hunter and Dr. Octopus, team up to finish off the ring leader Moonstone.

wasn't jolt an aspiring superheroine who was taken in by the t-bolts original hoax?

but she stood by them when they fled, so he got taken down like the rest of them... in that what if.

What if all the villians in Marvel were heroes and all the heroes were villians?
Example: X-Men are mutant terrorists and the Brotherhood are missunderstood heroes.

What if all the male characters were female and all the female characters were male?
Spider-Man, Green Goblin, Wolverine, Captain America, Wonder Man, Charles Xavier, Dr. Strange, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Magneto, and all the men (good and evil) are women.
While Ms. Marvel, Storm, Madam Hydra, White Queen, Rogue, Spider-Woman, and all the women (good and bad) were men.

For the First one: We have lamer heroes because a LOT of villains were made pretty lame, but luckily there are some pretty EXTREME villains too, so we balance things out.

for the second one: We get a lot mroe eye candy because there are far more male heroes than female heroes.

What if Crisis on Infinate Earths happened in Marvel?

What if Kingdom Come happened at Marvel?

What if Days of Future past's future started happening today?

What if 1602 happened in the Caveman era?

What if classic Marvel characters, from when they were Timely Comics, were created today?

Hey, what was Crisis on Infinite Earths about? I'll see what I can come up with for the Kingdom Come thing....

Crisis on Infinate Earth's was DCs idea of how to get rid of the multiple universes in a fun and interesting story. In it a being called the monitor is destroying on universe at a time and gains power each time he does it. Its up to the Anti Monitor and his sort of adopted daughter Harbinger to save them. It comes down to all the universes merging, all the bad guys team up to take over during the chaos, and the entire planet of Super heroes must stop the monitor. Its areally cool so I wont say any more and spoil it.

My version is similar, but tweaked slightly and stars the Beyonder as the main bad guy. It goes all over the place, includes almost every character from every dimension and alternate timeline, and deals with killing off and bringing back characters, retconning, and messing with characters and universes.

For Kingdom Come it would probably similar, and old Captain America, old Iron Man, (in fact it might be too similar to Earth X)

I would recomend for the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" the bad guy be an alternate-Watcher. an Uatu who not only violated the laws of his people, but has decided that power is more desirable than knowledge. Our Uatu manages to warn the citizens of our reality before he is killed. Together they team up, but this leaves Thanos, Loki, Ultron, and Baron Mordo with an opening to seize control. the Marvel heroes return home to find the world controlled by these. they split up to divide and conquor.

In my idea for Marvel's Crisis
The Watcher takes the place of the good Monitor and the Beyonder takes the place of the bad Monitor, it also involves Galactus, Thanos, and the Red Skull, and the Cosmic Cube, the Ghost Rider medallion, and the Mkron Crystal.

The Beyonder, after watching some realities, decides if he could change things he would have things happen different. So he does change things, he goes in and retcons and edits one reality until he is completely unhappy with the way it ends up and erases it from existance. Then he goes on to the next universe and does the same thing. Meanwhile the Watcher finds out and tries to use the Exiles to stop him, eventually all the Heroes on Marvel's Earth are involved. And the univeses are all added together, meaning that 20099 and days of futures past are in the same reality as regular Marvel and 1602. The Beyonder kills off every character who had died and came back to life somehow. He also kills off other characters he never liked, changes everyones costume to his favorite version and alters pasts. Red Skull sees the Beyonder's power and pledges allegiance to him and becomes his lacky, in hopes that he will be spared and maybe gain power. The demonic beings led by Mephisto try to take over and the Beyonder, in an effort to stop the heroes, brings all the dead characters back from the dead as part of his army.
In the end there is only one universe, no more future universes, no more past universes, no more alternate universes. There are more than one version of a few characters, the regular universe versions of some are dead, other characters are totally messed up, nothing is as it was. and Peter, Scott, and others must deal with the loss of their loved ones who had died long ago.

There is much more to the story but that is just some of the ideas I had for it.

Peter did his Graduate work in Biochemistry

Did they already do a "what if" Uncle Ben hadn't died?
or a What if Peter's parents hadn't died and he didn't go to live with his aunt and uncle?

What If... Spider-man kept the symbiote.
What If... Cap was Pro Reg and Tony was against.
What If... The Marvel Hero's came into our Universe.

What if classic Marvel characters, from when they were Timely Comics, were created today?
thes are interesting questions

I fyou can tell me about some of them, I'd add them into my What If... Penultimate Marvel idea. I only know Cap, Torch, and Namor, I already posted them here earlier. where would be a good place to find them?

Here's one:

What if Captain America awoke in a world where the Nazis won WWII.

The scene starts quite similarly to the third issue of Avengers where Captain America apeared, except we neve get a good look at The Avengers. Captain America begins to awake, as we hear talk of "the empire" and "Dr. Zola" from the Avengers. Finally, the camera pans up, and we see a perfect recreation of the scene where they realize it's Cap, except Giant Man and The Wasp are wearing all black with lab coats over their uniforms, Iron Man is wearing all black with an "SS" symbol on his chest, and Thor is wearing a full SS uniform with a cape and a black mask with a silver skull with red eyes on the face.

Cap freaks, tries to escape, and they subdue him. They tell him of his situation, and Cap basically tells them to go **** themselves. He's taken to a holding cell, but the submarine is atacked by an unseen force. Cap is rescued, and taken to the resistance headquarters.

There, the leader of the resistance, a mutant named Eric Lensherr, introduces him to the others. The resistance consists of:

Matt Murdock, a former lawyer who was blinded as a child when nazi soldiers beat him near to death after killing his mother, who was holding religious services for Jews and Jehova's Witnesses in the basement of the tenament building where they lived.

Peter Parker, a super powered teenager who escaped from the Hitler Youth program.

Frank Castle, who's wife and sons were killed by soldiers after Frank, a soldier himself, disobeyed orders.

Scott Summers, one of Eric's protiges and a master stratigest who posseses the ability to emit powerful energy beans from his eyes.

Pietro, Eric's son who posseses superhuman speed.

Victor Von Doom, a brilliant scientist who's home country of Latveria was wiped out by the nazis, and fled here to America only to see it conquered aswell.

Ben Grimm, the leader of the Yancy Street Gang, who now serve as members of the resistance.

Wilson Fisk, a former gang leader who now seaks to reclaim his power.

Namor, an Atlantian Prince who fought beside Cap in the war.

Dr. Strange, a mystic who hopes to fulfil his oath as sorcerer supreme to make the world a better place.

They, along with the few hundred Americans and people from other countries who wish to see things as they once were, are the resistance. And, Cap becomes their leader.

I've got all sorts of ideas for nazi versions of vasrious heroes and villains. Also, Proffesor X and Jean Grey would be used, along with many other psychics, as human datas prosesors and are used to counter the resistance's actions.

Did you ever read the Arc titled 'Cap Lives' from a few years back? It was a what if (Basically) where Cap wakes up in a World where the Nazis won.....the resistance is made up of a lot of the folks you mentioned...though no Mutants.....

Here's one I actually wrote

What if there were no Parachutes?

Sounds kinda ...Huh? it makes little sense, but the cover would help, Basically it's Cyclops and Havok as kids back on the plane but there is no Parachute for Major Summers to send his boys off with, so Scott and Alex are abducted along with thier parents.

It was pre Vulcan, but it basically had D'ken taking Alex and rasing him and Scott, in control of his powers I should add, helped his father form the Starjammers....Well his powers kicked in well after that.

Thier mom is still killed. As Adults Alex and Scott fight, thier powers nulling each other......I should dig it out....D'ken stayed in charge and Alex led the imperial Guard......it was pretty cool

What if... Penultimate Marvel?

Captain America: Steve Rodgers is a young recruit who volunteers for a medical experiment rather than go to Iraq, only to be shocked when it changes his normally meek and weak body into that of a Olympic Athlete

Sub-Mariner: Namor is raised by his grandfather, and lead to believe that he and his younger sister, Namura, were the products of rape on the part of his human father. Namor grows up harboring hatred for surface-dwellers and growing a strong and rigid sense of justice. his skin, always different from other Atlanteans brings him shame, however it isn't the strangest thing about him. when he entered puberty strange apendeges grew on his ankles that somehow caused him to able to swim without moving his legs or arms. he was propelled through the water effortlessly. then, when attacked by a shark, the shark shattered it's teeth on the Atlantean prince's skin. after discussing this with his father, Namor wants to find out if he has any other gifts from his father... particularly the ability to breath air. against the pleadings of his Grandfather and sister he shoots toward the surface with them in hot pursuit. he breaks out of the water to hover several feet above it. he takes a deep breath.. and another. he looks down through the barrier that divides him from his grandfather and sister. Namor pledges that from that moment on he shall live up to his name. he Shall be an Avenging Son.

The Angel: Thomas Hallaway was an expert surgeon, untill one day he was sued. while he was not at fault, and he lost no money, the court revoked his ability to perform medicine. Hallaway, not believing it possible that this could happen, desired the ability to investigate it. He had invested his money wisely over the years and was independantly wealthy. Through his investigation he came across a sheet of paper saying that he was being bumped to make way for a new kid by the name of Strange. The paper trail Hallaway followed lead him deeper and deeper into the occult. along the way he made aquisitions such as the Cape of Mercury, which granted him flight, the Goggles of DaVinci, which allowed him enhanced vision and the abilty to see the presence of the Super-natural. He found himself Learning more and more, and when asked who he was by a bystander he saved he replied only, "Just an angel ma'am."

The Human Torch: An android created to be the worlds first "Artificial Organism" there was, of course, a flaw in his design: the solar cells that powered him caused him to burst in to flames in an oxygnenated environment... such as the atmosphere. With free will that was unexpected by his creators he flew away to be unheard from for a year. then Jim Hammond surfaced. A firefighter in New York city his hand was forced when he had to save his company mates from a collapsing building. he burned away the debris and saved their lives, but revealed himself. rescue workers stand beside the artificial human known as "the Torch", but the Governement wants to question him.

Venus: the Goddess Venus has chosen now to visit the world of man. she makes her "Descent" in Paris, France where she gains followers who willingly worship her (mostly the lonely who wish to curry the favor of a love goddess). However she finds conflict from churches and the life of a living Goddess on earth.

The Vision: a scientist accidently links his experimental teleporter to another universe, accidently pulling through a being known as Aarkus, which in our language means "The Vision". unable to send the visitor back to his world of origin, Aarkus makes a life for himself here on earth. He was the equivilant of a police officer in his homeworld, so he sets forth to keep law here on Earth.

Who were you asking?
