I like the Avengers thing but it does seem a little far fetched, but then again I didn't start reading the Avengers until recently who am I to judge. I'd read it if for no other reason that I know Question knows what he's doing and i trust his story telling.

Well, the story takes place over a period of about five years. The changes are gradual.

What if Baby May hadn't been stolen by the Green Goblin's henchpeople, (and then totally forgotten?)

What if Spiderman and his family hadn't moved into the Avengers mansion or befriended Tony Stark?

What if M-Day hadn't occured?

What if Moira MacTaggert hadn't died?

Things which would have made the current situation even WORSE...

What if Mary Jane Parker really had been having an affair with Tony Stark?

What if Captain America had never been unfrozen, or had actually been killed by the Nazis?

What if Jessica Jones when under the Purple Man's power hadn't been sent mistakenly to the Avengers mansion, (where she was in a sense "freed" after first getting beaten into a coma until Carol Danvers recognized her,) but had been sent to the correct address to kill Daredevil?

I had an idea that would never happen with Joey Q in power:

Elseworlds presents: What if Marvel and DC were in the same continuity?

It would be a mini series cronichaling the new DCU history. Captain America was a founding member of the JSA. The JLA and Avengers started out as rival teams, one government sponsored and one freelance, that later became one large group. Spidey was an on again/off again member of the Teen Titans. The possibilities, really, are endless. I'd have to take a while to really map it out.

Heres a What if they could get out before Civil War is over:
2 different version
What if Captain America's side wins the Civil War
What if Iron Man's side wins the Civil War

- They could show, not necissarily what si going to happen, but what the extreme result of each might be.
Maybe iron Man kills Captain America, or the other way around. Just go the the most extreme possability.

In Iron Man's show every hero having to register and having one team of heroes for each of the 50 states. Show the next extreme stage after the registrations start happening. Maybe mutant registration starts happening, and it hints at Days of Futures past.

Another:
What if it was revealed that, after the Civil War got started and after people get killed, that a villian like Loki or Kang was really behind the whole Civil War?

Heres another,

What if Frank Castle's family had lived? What if Uncle Ben had become Spider-Man?
What if Norman Osbourne became Spider-Man?

Oh, I know: What if Norman Osbourne succeeded in brainwashing/torchuring Peter and made him into the Green Goblin?

What if the situation that made Galactus, I think it was the the big bang, had actually made Galan a hero and not an always hungry force of nature? What if Glactus had stayed Galan, only became as powerful as he became as Galactus?

What If Xavier and Magneto had a role reversal?Xavier from the offset had trained his X-Men to fight against humanity and it was Eric who was fightin for equality and to just live in peace.

The series focusses on Iron Lad, Stature, Patriot, and Hawkeye II, and Marvel is praised by conservative advocacy groups for "disappearing" all the homosexual characters.t:

What if,
towards the end of Civil War,
Captain America is revealed to be the Beyonder, Loki, kang, or a Space Phantom, in desguise.
He is revealed to be a bad guy this whole time, with the real Cap being hidden somewhere.
How would that effect the War? What would happen to everyone who was on Cap's side? What would happen to all the heroes on Iron Man's side? What would happen to the real Cap? What would be the future of the Avengers?

I imagin that Cap's side would loose credibility, the registration would pass by a landslide. Iron Man might even be seen as America's greatest hero. Cap might be perminantly seen by the public as a villian, never to be trusted again. For that matter any hero who sided with Cap might never be seen as a hero or never be trusted again.

What If Eddie Brock became Toxin? I think it would be a great story, of course eddie would probably go after Mac Gargan and reclaim the Venom symbiote in which I would be up for and I am sure the rest of the venom fans would be as well.

Thor is dead, the world sorly needs him. The hammer searches for its new owner and finds Steve Rogers. Steve, Captain America, has proven time and time again that he is worthy, and he becomes the new Thor.

that was in the 80's following the 1979 tv movie which depicted cap as essentialy steve rogers JR. a retired marine who wanted to be a commercial artist before he was injured in a murder attempt and was given the full latent ability gain serum[the FLAGserum the movies version of the super soldier serum which at the time the tv movie was produced was considered the sole source of caps abilities]

Steve Rodgers, a young, green, army recruit volunteers for a scientific experiment to avoid going to Iraq.

Namor, a young Atlantean prince, has grown up believing that his mother was raped twice by a surface dweller, resulting in him self and his younger sister. This has congealed into a hatred of surface dwellers, but also a deep rooted set of values.

A newly activated android accidently kills his "father" taking the name "James Hammond" the Android flies off to try and seek a cure for his combustiblity. along the way he meets a young street kid with powers similar to his.

This goes off of what has happened in Ultimate Spiderman's Clone Saga story where Fury was prepping for the possibility of Spiderman going bad.... What if Ultimate Spiderman snapped and became a supervillain?

I don't really have a "What If" story idea,

Just a small idea that could be used in a "What if" or any future comic story (like Spider-Girl)

Nick Fury should be drawn to look like Jack Kirby, but with an eye patch.

(found this under the title, "Is Nick Fury Jack Kirby?" and I think he should be)

It gave me the idea, somewhere in a future story Nick Fury should be drawn to look like Jack Kirby only include the eye patch on Jack.
