If you're not moving, you're not living... Ezra Miller IS Barry Allen/The Flash!

Let's just move on from that silly moment... shall we?

This is the new costume of Flash from Post-Convergence.

Overall I like it. Only I wish the symbol background were white.

So, aside from apparent spontaneous combustion, Flash's look hasn't been bastardized?

What makes him so special, I wonder.

Well, you don't have to like this casting. Just because someone thinks this casting is horrible doesn't mean they're a troll (not saying they aren't either).

Sometimes you see a casting choice and you love it, and the film comes out, and you are satisfied and love the actor/character even more. Sometimes you see a casting and you hate it, but the film turns out great and you end up loving the actor/character. Again, I don't hate this casting but I'm not the biggest fan of it either, and I'm excited to see how the film turns out, but in the mean time, I can't deny my initial thoughts of not being too satisfied with the choice. But again, time will tell.

Doesn't look like barry allen?… just give him a haircut and sometime to get into that Andrew Garfield look and there you have a perfect barry allen.. :yay::yay:

I see him more as Wally West, but I think he'd be fine Barry as well.

The shot of him used in this fan manip makes him look more like Barry when compared to some of his other pictures that I've seen people post online.

On another note, do you guys think that Barry's job in the CSI Unit should be featured heavily into this film? Would you like to see him solving things in a CSI (The Show) and Sherlock Holmes (RDJ's Films) manner?

We just need the villain to be blonde to ram the point home.
Blonde is evil.

Only if he gets to do the one-liners:

:woot:

But, more seriously, I think it could add interesting dimension to the character.

I feel odd looking at his images sometimes, don't know why.
Sometimes I wish they'd select someone else for the role.

I never had much of a problem with Gustin when he was cast for the Flash show and people complained he looked too young, but I have to say that seeing Ezra it does bug me he looks like he's just a kid. I'll leave final judgement to see him in the role of Barry Allen/Flash.

How do you guys know that it's going to be Barry Allen? was it ever officially confirmed by WB?

Ezra is a much better fit for the Wally Flash anyways. plus Chris Miller and Phil Lord are developing a script (and most likely directing) I could easily see those guys going with Wally instead of Barry, he fits with their style more.

I think it was confirmed. Even so I don't see them skipping Barry in the movies.

I assumed Ezra Miller would be Barry Allen, but I guess it's not confirmed 100% at least I haven't seen anything to confirm it.

One thing I did take into consideration, is that Batman isn't a youngster in this, Aquaman looks like he's been King of Atlantis for awhile now... so maybe there is a slight chance Wally West could be The Flash in it? Given the possible age of some of the JL members... and maybe to differentiate from the TV series, but hey, maybe I'm just over-analyzing this. I'm cool with whoever he ends up being. By looks, he gives off more of a Wally vibe. :oldrazz:

I am a bit partial to the JL animated Flash, as probably most kids/teens who grew up with the show are.

Everything I've read said it will be Barry Allen, but I don't think DC fully confirmed it. But, if they're going with Hal Jordan, they have to use Barry.

If Sneider is right about them casting John Stewart, then I think it's likely that Wally will be The Flash.

Also do you have a link to the confirmation from WB themselves and not the Newsground article?

I hope it's Wally now if they're using Stewart. Would hate not seeing HalBarry
