Ezra Miller talks Barry Allen: http://www.ew.com/article/2015/11/1...e?hootPostID=f7a6ef08862d4e5244fd828449e83027

“Well, [first] it’s going to be a movie,” he said. “I’d like for it to be an exploration of a human being, a multi-dimensional human being, to speak.” Miller pauses. “Wow, I just made such a pun, without meaning to!” he says, referring to The Flash’s parallel universe storyline in the comics. Miller continues: “I’d like the character to have many dimensions. But really, I’d like him to have the usual dimensions we know and love, and then some extra ones that are part of the amazing consideration of this superhero. I hope to realize him as a person, and I think what’s most exciting for me in superhero mythologies is when we feel the humanity of someone who is heroic — or the heroism of someone who is a flawed, deeply human person.”

Whatever flaws Barry has I hope self esteem issues aren't one. The "believe in yourself" thing is way over done.

yea the flash tv show makes him really weak..
flash is pretty cocky and the most talkative.. so is arrow.. but i guess cw loves drama.. not that i dont like those shows. i love em.. but i want the movies to be as true to the characters as possible

Angst and being emo makes for better conflict than being sure of yourself.

I'm on the same page. I like Grant's Barry Allen, but I'm looking forward to seeing Ezra's take and I really hope he doesn't rely on S.T.A.R. Labs in the movie.

Yeah, I like that superheroes for the most part are doing a solitary pursuit. It's about of what makes them interesting. It's apart of the reason why it's so exciting when they're forced to team up with other heroes because they're accustomed to working alone. Yet on TV shows it seems that every superhero needs a whole team around them. Bloody annoying

agreed man.. which obviously is not what they are gonna do for the movies... as it is rumoured his suit is technology based... which would mean barry is also an uber nerd.. and doesnt need assistance for anything in central city.

I just got around to watching Trainwreck finally and Ezra Miller cracked me up in it. That movie was really funny.

Ezra is quite impressive in Stanford Prison Experiment too. Although, I hope he uses a more masculine tone of voice when playing Barry.

I mean to watch the Stanford Prison Experiment. I have heard he's great in it.

P.S, Just finished it, he was very good in this. I don't have a problem at all with his voice.
