Yeah, I mean I don't even remember La Fon and Furnis yet there they are, going over a team of Owen and the Bulldog. It just had me saying "Da Fuk?".

Anderson and Gallows are like a slightly better version of LaFon and Furnas. :o

I was sure they were going to take Shane off the Smackdown team and put the Undertaker.

Just seems like the Smackdown team is "weaker" than the Raw squad. Shane's spot could have been used by Apollo Creed to try and elevate him. Hell, if you want to give him some heat, have him join the team and then turn on team Smackdown. He'd be a pariah on the show and a huge heel.

I love how they keep saying Smackdown is where they give opportunities yet the boss's son is always taking a wrestler's spot. I'm not saying Corbin is the greatest, but the match should've been used to give him and Strowman (yes, I know they're on opposing teams) the rub like they did with Sheamus and Drew in 2009.

I still don't understand the logic of the Corbin "injury" to get Shane on the team. Unless its to have Shane cost Team Smackdown the match and cause a Superstar Rebellion against Shane and Daniel Bryan after Survivor Series. if I'm booking, I have Raw go over in all 3 matches, and all the Superstars of Smackdown revolt against Shane/Bryan for putting them in that situation in the 1st place.

They put over Zigglers SS matches during his whole match vs Miz. Since he's not fighting for the IC title they should have had him replace Shane but..ya know...McMahon.

Will Osprey is the new ROH Television Champion.

I only watched that match and SS 96 last night funnily enough, even from that moment they strapped a rocket to him. Sunny, JR and Vinnie Mac all on commentary waxing lyrical about him.

Imagine my discomfort when they followed his debut with an 8 man tag consisting of fake Diesel, fake Razor, and a Yoko who looked like he was about to drop dead. :csad: Listening to JR be effusive over fake D and RR while Vinnie stayed silent actually made me angry given we all know whose idea that was.

Finally, I forgot over restless the crowd were towards HBK at that time. The loved seeing his ass being powerbombed to oblivion. :oldrazz:

SS 96 was certainly interesting for various reasons.

I heard Fake Diesel became this guy:

On this day 20 years ago, The Rock made his debut at Survivor Series 1996 in the Team Mero Vs. Team Helmsley match from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York.

Oh yeah, and Shawn Michaels got his ass kicked by Sid Vicious. :p

He commented on the match and said that Goldust is one of his good friends.

Goldberg hurt his shoulder beating up guys who barely moved... :lmao:

Team DIY vs The Revival 2 Out of 3 Falls will be the WWE Match of the Year or close to it. Count on that.

Quite frankly, I'd be Alexa in that situation as well. I'd be like, "I'm about to say something that's never been said in the history of time, but please, let Nikki do the talking."

I have DIY winning because I have Authors of Pain winning the Dusty Classic. Authors of Pain vs. The Revival makes no sense.

Authors of Pain need to win me over tonight like the Revival did at Takeover: Dallas. I am now 100% on board with the Revival.

I'm not a Gargano/Ciampa fan but I'll admit that they have great cemistry with the "top guys."
