Becase the fanbase has lost their minds and taken irony too far. This guy, however nice he probably is, has no talent Every single time WWE pushes someone who isn't very good they can point to this guy and say "Hey you got behind a no talent guy because he looks odd"

I don't disagree with you. Heck I am getting bored with Enzo/Cass and the New Day because they seem to only be memes at this point, even with the talent.

But this is a momentary thing and I think it has been very good for AJ and Dean's feud. No one takes Ellsworth seriously, he is along for the ride and people are enjoying it.
