Aside from the Sasha stuff, my biggest disappointment was not in Triple H not interfering, but rather Roman's comments about wanting to go after the UC next. Knowing how hard Vince still is for him, I wouldn't be surprised if they feud next, while Rollins is feuding with Jericho.

Actually yeah. Bayley has been booked so poorly since debuting on the main roster that it's far too soon for her to be in a title feud period. Also Super-Charlotte would likely get put over again (she beats Bayley TWICE in the span of a week with a freaking big boot not too long ago for goodness sake).

And since so many people seem to think that Sasha works better as a heel, her WINNING last night could have facilitated that nicely I think. She beats the women who's held the belt for the better part of two years now. She then beats some other people, maybe even "slaying the monster" Nia Jax in the process. Sasha's character is played up as self-confident even as a face. Well that self-confidence starts morphing into full-on arrogance. And while she's friends with Bayley, she also feels like Bayley is no real threat to her. But Bayley wins and gains momentum as well, and perhaps someone points out (either intentionally or off-handedly) that Sasha shouldn't be so confident since Bayley beat her twice clean in NXT and took the NXT belt off of her in the process. Sasha starts becoming paranoid of Bayley, and eventually snaps and beats her down. Then you get heel Sasha vs. face Bayley in a title feud.

Bayley not being impressive is fine. The story writes itself. She is after all the incredible underdog. In fact it just adds to the idea if she comes almost out of nowhere to beat Charlotte at a PPV.

The way I see it, there will be no women's singles match at Survivor Series. They will have all the major players in the SS match. Perhaps Charlotte gets eliminated, but it doesn't "count" at losing at a PPV and she blames Bayley. She goes over Bayley in December, then loses at Royal Rumble to Bayley. That is almost three months worth of build.

See I don't want Charlotte/Bayley. That's the thing, I'm tired of Charlotte's never-ending title reigns. I don't care, I'm not interested. If it had been Sasha/Bayley, then we're onto something.

Also I'm not buying the "underdog Bayley" storyline anymore. We did that already in NXT, and she's beaten Sasha and Charlotte clean before. And she had a ton of momentum when she debuted (beating Dana twice, beating Charlotte while she was champion, etc). So no, she's not an underdog anymore and I cannot buy her as such. And it'd just be a lazy rehash of her NXT storyline, and I have no confidence that the Raw writers would handle it as well.

Not everybody watches NXT though so its new to them. I don't mind.

Except people knew who she was before she debut. Why do you think the arena was chanting for her at Battleground, and then popped hard when she debuted? Why do you think the crowd popped for her in her Raw debut? Also the announcers repeatedly mention her as a "former NXT Women's Champion." So this notion that they don't know her backstory, isn't backed up by the evidence.

And even if it was, I don't care. I still don't like them basically rehashing her NXT story. I mean are their "professional" writers so uncreative, and so lazy, that they cannot come up with ANYTHING else except "do the same crap all over again and ignore all of her character development." Are they really that out of ideas. Wow, way to think outside the box/try new stuff WWE.

Not a fan of Bayley or Charlotte, but my bigger issue is just that Raw's Women's division is sorely lacking outside of those three. Nia is still being built up, but has been MIA for the past month, Dana is a walking botchfest and it seems they quietly removed her from Charlotte, and Emma is being repackaged. Alicia Fox is a jobber and I don't even know if Summer Rae was drafted to Raw to begin with.

Outside of the NXT crowd, Bayley is still fairly new and needs to be built up, thus leaving Sasha and Charlotte to play hot potato with the belt. Contrast this to Smackdown, where they have the lesser known names, but have quickly built a true division where all 6 of their women, not including Eva Marie, can be seen as credible contenders. They've built starts to keep things fresh, whereas Raw is solely relying on two women to carry the most weight.

Bayley doesn't work if she wins a lot. A white meat babyface who doesn't consistently struggle is a good way to get someone booed in this era.

Austin Aries Suffered Orbital Fracture, Out Until Next Year

– Austin Aries is out of action until early next year at the earliest. PWInsider reports that Ariea suffered a large orbital fracture from a kick at last week’s NXT house show by Shinsuke Nakamura.

The site reports that Aries will undergo surgery later this week and will be out of action until at least the first quarter of next year.

Damn .. I really hope this doesn't lead to Vince wanting to water down Shinsuke and Strong Style.

I Had A Great Costume. I Was Going Go Dress As A Stupid Idiot, But They Didn't Have Any Wrestling Thread Costumes.

Somebody messed up and listed Braun as the "Final" Member of the SS team, even though they've only announced four of the five. I think it's obvious the fifth will be Seth.

Gotta love The New Day as Godfather's various gimmicks!

Hopefully the United States will forgive him 17 years from now.

"Struggling" doesn't mean lose most of your matches. And she doesn't need to be an underdog again, we've done that already. I don't think that it's asking too much to treat her like the talent she is and not constantly job her out. It doesn't make her endearing, it makes her look like a loser, and she's not as over as she was in her debut as a result.

That's pretty sickening. Never lend or give a snake money, they'll just shed their skin and prey on the next mark under a new guise.

As for Raw, all I've to say is poor Rusev. There's something about Goldberg that I don't find likeable. I don't see any humility in him, just a mark for himself. He misses the fans as long as they're cheering for him.

Wrote a really long post going into detail about the issues with Charlotte's PPV undefeated streak. Then my internet cut off at the precise moment I pressed Send and I lost it all. So, quick version: it's bad.

So I was at the RAW last night and here are a couple of my thoughts (mind you, It was my first live WWE televised event):

-3 hours is way too long. I can understand why the crowd can die through the night.
-Chris Jericho is even more over in person.
-Didn't quite realize how "real" the boos for Roman were until now.
-Extremely unhappy that not only was Sasha not there, New Day was a damn tapped promo. Only 2 reasons I watch RAW and neither were there.
-the crowd during the Cruiserweights was dead as a graveyard
-I don't know if it was televised but the Golden Truth segment put me to sleep
-Nia Jax is even bigger in person, Braun as well.
-Sami Zayn is hella over. Amazed he's not even close to the Main Event.

Overall, I guess I was entertained, but the show's so long I was damn near sleepy by the ME. One note, my wife never watches wrestling and she came with me; I was quite surprised at how into it she was.

I'm at the point now where I don't care who gets the big spots as long as a lot of people get over. I want the business to get hot again by any means necessary, even if that means some people I like aren't where I'd want them to be on the card(s). All I know is I'm damn sick and tired of watching wrestling shows where the crowd doesn't give two craps, and the houses aren't where they should be. Heck, push that lame ass James Ellsworth, push Mojo Rawley, push Reigns, fire the writers, adopt a new booking philosophy, make Pink Ranger WWE Champion, do what you have to do. Maybe another company can light a fire somehow, I don't care but we need something ASAP ha ha.

I will say that they should give Jericho a run as the Champ.

The crowd ate up everything he dished out last night.

This title didn't mean a damn thing until it was around my waist! Oh, sorry, I forgot this is the Barclays Centre. Let me explain: a "title" is when you become a champion, unlike the Nets and Islanders. And a "waist" is something a real man has when he's not stuffing his face with Coney Island hot dogs and cheese fries like all you fat losers in Brooklyn!
