Stop making them, ffs! Tired of my friend dragging my physically challenged body to them! :funny:
Or at least change how you're approaching them. So you know they're duds, okay what went wrong? Not just on the character selection, but the post production issues, bad scripts, etc. If you know they suck, STOP MAKING THE SAME MISTAKRS EVERYTIME!!!!!

I knew that Sony wouldn't stop spinoffs entirely. Based on the verbiage used in the interviews, I think Venom may be the anchor being moving forward. I don't buy at all the studio chose not to use Spider-Man on their own. Come on guys, you weren't allowed. Admit it. But maybe they worked something out in this new deal for the 4th Tom Holland movie that will allow them to now

Yeah, I'm convinced that Sony wants a King in Black trilogy.

Scary thought: what if Sony’s way of “course correcting” is doubling down on straight up Spiderman movies? Like they make a whole bunch of Holland, Tobey, Andrew, Miles films every single year? I dont want that either. I dont want them to dilute the character.

I don’t think marvel would be too happy with that, and I also don’t think you’re gonna get Garfield or Maguire to carry their own movies at this point in time

Now them doing Miles movies separately from the MCU, I can see that

No one wanted a Kraven movie in the first place.

What fans want is a Spider-Man movie with Kraven as the main villain, possibly adapting Kraven's Last Hunt.

Fans don't want a Sinister Six movie. They want a Spider-Man movie where he fights the Sinister Six.

I wish Sony would learn the distinction.

TASM3 or SM4 are not happening

They can't even get out their current modern Spider-Man 4. No way are they going to start doing that, but also two more times in the same year.

I think we can be confident that they won’t learn any sensible lesson and will choose an equally idiotic correction method.

I'm most of the way through Joker 2 and while I don't love it, it isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
I watched it yesterday also. I was into the first 20 minutes (the animated intro was cool) but within an hour I got real bored. I kept thinking about how The Nightman Cometh, a joke musical from Always Sunny, had more compelling music than anything I heard

Holiday-Themed Comic Book Movies Marathon Entry # 4

Someone pointed out to me in private chat that Wonder Woman 1984 ends in a Christmas Market. My bad for not including it in my initial list

Iron Man 3 (2013)

Believe it or not, this is only my second time watching this.

I remember not caring for it the first time around, and the movie didn't do much to change my mind upon re-watch, unfortunately...

Sorry, Rob!

The biggest lessons that Sony should be learning are:

- Forcing Avi Arad into retirement, pay him off or whatever you have to do. Also, give his yes men stooge producers the boot as well.

- Focus on different variants of Spider-Man and if they develop side characters and villains well enough, perhaps you can circle back to spinoffs.

And for the love of God, go back to Lord and Miller and beg for forgiveness
