For those of you seeing TDK the first time on IMAX (like, for the midnight show), are you a little bummed out that you won't be able to see the theatrical trailers for Terminator, Watchmen, and Body of Lies? Are you going to see TDK again (like on Friday or Saturday) at a normal theater to see them?

Or does it even matter to you? :p

Seeing Dark Knight three days early or seeing the Terminator trailer... hmm...

...although we talked about it yesterday while out, I kinda need the trailers to warm me up. I felt when I saw the prologue it got into the clip too soon before I was ready. So tonight, I figure the prologue itself will be the warm-up I need since I've watched it a handful of times back in the winter.

I'm seeing Dark Knight either Friday afternoon (potential viewing #3, depending on quality of course ;)) or Monday in a normal theatre.

Watching TDK both at the IMAX and normal theater.

Nah...I can live without the trailers. It's all about TDK!!! Plus, I'll be seeing it a regular theatre soon after, so I can see trailers then.

^^That's the second time I heard about that. Where did you hear that from?

People (like myself) are gonna lose their minds once the trailers end and the Warner logo hits.

At my screening they are showing all the trailers in Imax it says 9:40-trailers, then 10:00-movie, so im assumings there will be trailers on my screening and hopefully watchmen

Watchmen trailer in IMAX?!

If i see that trailer tonight, I will probably cry before the movie even begins.

But I plan on seeing the movie like 8 times this weekend, a couple IMAX and a couple normal theater.

Ill be seeing it at a midnight showing in my town at a local regular theater then Im seeing it again like 8 hours later at the Rochester NY Imax, so I do get to see them.

So if the Watchmen trailer is attached to the IMAX showing, then I'm guessing Watchmen will be released in IMAX also.

Anyway, I'll be seeing it in IMAX at midnight and in a regular theater Friday afternoon, so the trailer thing doesn't bother me.

I'll be seeing The Dark Knight tonight so with any luck the Watchmen trailer will be attached to it, but if not I'll be attending a midnight screening on Friday so it's all good either way.

I was just thinking, arent the IMAX theaters projecting most of the movie as 35mm film? Cause the trailer would be 35mm too, so they could show the trailer in IMAX.

Wishful thinking, I know

They're showing the Watchmen trailer before normal theater showings as well. IMAX is going to have all the same trailers as the normal theater showings PLUS a 15-second Harry Potter teaser trailer.

Probably are going to show the watchmen trailer with it, and in big screen imax ratio, they showed imax trailers on i am legend in the uk, and seeing as how they showed 300 in imax ratio, and it's the same studio director, very likely be an imax presentation too when it's on.

Honestly - if I had to choose between seeing TDK two days earlier without a Watchmen trailer, or seeing it two days later with a Watchmen trailer - I would choose that latter.

God I hope there's a trailer for Meet Dave. Fingers crossed!
