I know when they talked about the future of the character we heard Chris Pratt rumblings. I cringed when I heard this. I just don't think he fits the part. I think his talent lies in comedy first. Sure he can be in great shape but his demeanour is still more of a goofy hero I think.
This is coming from someone who doesn't enjoy Marvel movies but instead of him I think Chris Evans would be a dream casting.
I know he's been described as a pretty boy but if we remember Raiders of the Lost Ark, the female students loved the dude. Handsomeness is part of the character I think.
But I'm really blown away by Evan's performance in Snowpiercer. I was like , " wow. This dude can act."
We know from the Marvel flicks he can do action but I also think he can do the academic Henry Jones as well. I liked his perfeormance in " Sunshine". Throw some stubble on the dude and hand him the whip.
Ofcourse, if he really wants to quit acting and direct I guess this is moot.
I just think he could be perfect.
