Bay did say we'd get a trailer with Friday the 13th, but honestly I think thats a ******ed idea, F13 is an R rated movie why would Bay limit his audience of people who can see it. I mean I'm going because F13 on F13 is something to do. But the larger demographic of people who will see Transformers 2 kids families etc aren't gonna see the trailer before its online or if its attached to another movie as well. I think it has more to do with the fact that Bay's production company is behind F13, so he obviously wants to get more people in theaters by putting the TF stamp on it so his movie does well.

Exactly. If Friday the 13th blows, and it most likely will, at least people will go to watch the TF2 teaser.

And also, you have to take into account that the movie doesn't open until late June and that this is just the teaser trailer.

They can probably get away with putting the trailer on a R rated movie.

They'll want the longer, final trailer to be seen by the largest audience possible and preferably closer to the release date (i.e., April/May). So, I'd expect the next one to be on Star Trek.
