Games: Warner Bros Announces New DC Character Fighting Game
If you haven't had your fix of superhero video games then you're in luck. Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have just announced a new title they're creating Injustice: Gods Among Us. Creating the title will be NeatherRealm Studios who created the remake of Mortal Kombat last year will be making the game
Yahoo had the scoop on the game, "Injustice: Gods Among Us debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale."
Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said, "“With Injustice: Gods Among Us, we are creating an all-new franchise with incredible battles set in the DC Comics Universe. NetherRealm Studios is the extremely talented team behind the latest Mortal Kombat hit and it is developing a game unlike any other in the fighting genre.”
grodd 's more of a manipulator any way. And has others do the work for him before he does anything him self. The latter being he has to be forced into that position.
I really dont want Joker. He would just be another version of Harley Quinn. I would not mind if he just stars in the game but a non playable character.
Similar to why the Riddler wouldn't work.
I think Grundy is considered a pure tank.
Also Doomsday will definitely appear. He is already shown in the back drop of fortress of solitude.
Maybe in the DCU he is a pure tank, but as I said, a lot of his specials revolve around him being a zombie. Using his stink, a tombstone, undead Minions, and knives from his back. He isn't simply an up close and personal fighter. He may be a tank most of the time but in terms of this particular fighting game, his moves aren't particularly tank-like aside from being a grappler.
how can anyone not want the freakin Joker in this game?! its the Joker!
Oh okays. So I guess we can still have Doomsday, Darkseid or Bane.
Because I never picture him as a fighter that can actually hold his own. Yes, as I said in my previous post, everyone can be turned into a fighter, but that doesn't mean I approve. He's normally the guy who gets taken out with one punch by Batman. Harley is a more suitable fighter than he'll ever be.
