Not my first choice for a new video game, but I trust Insomniac to deliver. Spider-Man and Wolverine are so incredibly different in terms of gameplay, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how they approach it.

Words can't describe how excited I am for this. The possibilities are endless and just thinking of the combat and what all that will be like. Oh lawd!

I prefer a X-Men game but we haven't seen a new Wolverine since Origins which I played in Ps2. So I guess I shouldn't complain. Hopefully we get villains like Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, Silver Samurai, Omega Red and the most well known Wolverine villains.

If I have to predict this comes out in 2024. I don't see two insomniac Marvel games in 2023. They will probably spread them out.

This makes me wonder if Insomniac iis willing to adapt more Marvel ips. This happening made me think of possibility of them doing more. This reminds me of ActiVision days when they constantly released Spider-Man and Wolverine games. I'd like to see a third ip be adapted by Insomniac.

I wouldn't mind a Daredevil game but thats another street / ny based superhero. I think someone like Captain America, Iron Man or Captain Marvel could go country hopping or planet hopping. And a superhero team game would certainly be more different.

And this makes me wonder if the Wolverine is a linear game or not. Can you imagine the Wolverine roaming around Canadian rockies with his motor bike.

I was hoping we'd get a Black Panther game in the vein of insomniacs spiderman but man am I shook that they announced wolverine. Fingers crossed marvel shopped black panther out to sucker punch.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine revealed

Marvel’s Wolverine is a standalone game being directed by Brian Horton (creative director) and Cameron Christian (game director), who recently led the creative efforts on Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a game we’re extremely proud of at Insomniac. In the vein of our Spider-Man games, our goal here is to not only respect the DNA of what makes the character so popular, but also look for opportunities to make it feel fresh and truly reflect the Insomniac spirit. Even though Marvel’s Wolverine is very early in development, from what I’ve seen of its emotional narrative and cutting-edge gameplay (see what I did there?), the team is already creating something truly special.

Being able to build a new, original universe with Spider-Man and now Wolverine is such an honor for so many of us at Insomniac Games. A huge thanks to our Sony Interactive Entertainment family for giving us the opportunity to develop these games, Marvel for trusting us with characters that mean so much to so many people, and of course, our fans for continuing to believe in us.

this is great im hyped. the truth is wolverine has had some decent games with x-men origins on the ps3/xbox360 and before that x2 wolverine's revenge on the ps2/xbox. i dont know if anyone played that but it was the first great wolverine game imo

Wolverine was never my favorite in the X-men but it's hard not to get hyped for this. Insomniac making more Marvel games than Spidey is unexpected but very welcome.

I'm hoping for more games inline with the Insomniac games. The Iron Man game was a 1st person game and iirc needed a vr headset... Midnight Suns look like a mobile game, easy pass. And there's the Avengers. I plan to get Gotg when its cheap and when I have a ps5 but I am not eXcited for the game.

Its going to be long wait for Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine.

I do remember that. I hope someone takes a crack at an open world wakanda with BP. I'd also like another hulk game as well. Lol

Well this was totally out of left field, and that's why it makes me excited. I wonder if Insomniac were allowed to pick the superhero again like they did with Spider-man. That would explain it I guess.

In any case I am happy. I've had my fill of Iron-Man, Black Panther and the other MCU big hitters. At this point Wolverine is kind of refreshing
