I think people really exaggerate about the fights in the first film. Most (if not all) of us here have seen the film probably 100 times by now. The only real unclear fight for me was the docks. After that, the cuts may be quick, but I had no problem seeing what was going on.
When Batman fights the 4 ninjas in the narrows? Awesome! And the only real problem with the Batman vs. Ra's fight was it was a bit too short. It was plenty brutal and high-impact, though.
If anything, I want more of the "horror movie" moments with Batman scaring the crap out of people, and knocking them out with one blow. I know Begins was about his first week or so on the job, so it'd make sense that he's going to go toe-to-toe with some guys, but in TDK I want to see more of the hard-hitting guy who knows the right move to incapacitate his enemy.
