NS: Girls and women in general (including my own mother) love Tom Welling. Is he the all-around nice guy he portrays on Smallville. Clark Kent is portrayed as noble and heroic, qualities that are sometimes in short supply these days in the real world.

SS: Absolutely, he was lovely to work with and was a complete gentleman (just don’t ask him to tell you any sheep jokes!)

Oh bring in the sheep.

I don't get it. why no sheep jokes?

Maybe because he gets no sleep? Doesn't have a chance to count sheep?

Maybe he told some sheep jokes that weren't so gentlemany?

I guess Tom has taken the place as the clown on set after Michael left? I'm sure Justin clowns around too. He seems like he's that type.

I agree that girls and women love him (dirty jokes nor not) :)

Not entirely true in this show!!

speaking of red k would have loved to see it again in season 7 or 8.

I disagree. Barring mind altering substances, Clark has always been noble and heroic. He's been kinda dense occasionally. And sometimes guilt ridden. But not unheroic.

Just because he's not a globally known figure doesn't mean he's not noble or heroic.
