Rise of the Silver Surfer INVISIBLE WOMAN/Jessica Alba DISCUSSION

Hope this is okay to post here. News on Alba's next movie.

From LA Daily News:

12/31/2006 08:58:16 PM PST

Casting of subsidiary roles is being finalized on Jessica Alba's "The Eye," which has a production start slated for the first week of February. The thriller has Alba as a violinist who regains her sight through a transplant operation after having been blind nearly all her life - only to find that she keeps seeing a terrified little boy and his crying mother in her apartment building, two victims of a murder suicide long before.

Have not seen this posted anywhere else....
Another Ioan & Jessica interview was on TV yesterday on the E! channel.
Jessica mentioned how the wedding dress was actually an Oscar dress she had almost worn to the Oscars, but it was done up in white for the wedding. She also said it wasn't something she would wear to her real wedding, as it was a little tight and revealing for her.
She also said the paparazzi must be bored when they take pics of her, because she usually doing something boring, like going to visit her godson.

It's not much, but it had something to do with Jessica's feelings on weddings and family, so I figured it might be intresting to someone.

Check the Video Archive thread.....:yay:

Sorry to derail the conversation a bit, but is anyone else sad that the Marvel Knights 4 book has ended? That particular series had some great exploration of Sue's character and I love the portrayal of Sue by Sacasa (perhaps with the exception of the wedding anniversary issue featuring the Black Panther). I definitely found Sue the most interesting out of anyone else in the MK4-verse. To some extent, the FF movies seem to follow that particular characterization.

I don't want to talk about that................................:cmad: :csad: :cmad: :csad: :cmad: :csad:

And yes I agree about Sue's characterization....but they could have done much more in the m ovie....

I was out of the country for a couple of months last year and when I got back and went to the store to pick up the MK4 issues I'd missed, I too was shocked and mad to see that it ended right before the Civil War. :( And what is happening in the regular book post-CW doesn't help.

I agree with what you said about the movie. I really hope that the writing team steps it up this time around and shows Sue in a new light as a capable, strong-willed, loyal, and mediating member of the FF. Even though I'm not the biggest proponent of having Sue be the one to interact with the Surfer instead of Alicia, if that's what it will take to add more layers to the character, I'm all for it.

This may have already been posted before, but doesn't anyone think that they've made Sussan into some horrible, alienesque, colour infused freak?

ewwwww.

The horror nutbags at HorrorMovies.ca had a chance to take a tour of the set of The Eye and not just that but interview Jessica Alba and even share her fries. Sounds like Alba is a super cool chick. Alessandro Nivola (Grace Is Gone) and Parker Posey (Superman Returns) will join Jessica Alba in the English-language remake of the Pang Brothers' thriller The Eye. Lionsgate are hoping to get the movie in theatres on December 21st, 2007.

Read the report: The Eye Set Visit http://www.horror-movies.ca/horror_7770.html

The original film directed by The Pang Bros. was a brilliant film that told of a young woman who had been given the ability to see after an eye transplant. It seems that whenever you get something from someone else its never a good deal. Soon she begins to see dead people around the hospital and she must discover whos eyes she has recieved.

The remake will be adapted by Sebastian Gutierrez and Hillary Seitz. Directing the film will be another tag team of David Moreau and Xavier Palud. With the ultra hot Jessica Alba in the cast this movie is definetly going to sell some tickets whether it is good or not. If the movie is even half as sexy as Jessica Alba it will sweep the Oscars

What does this have to do with Sue?????

Isn't this a scene from "Fantastic Four: The Seduction of Reed Richards"?

or perhaps "Fantastic Four: The Conception of Franklin"?

or even "Fantastic Four: Sue's Webcam"?

Hmmmmm......

Hair color seems wrong....

does sue still faint whenever she uses her powers? that always made me mad. She tries to contain a butterfly in a forcefield. "I can't keep this up much... longer...oh Reeeeeed.....*faints*"
soooooooo lame

Ummm, exactly what issue did she do that in.

I think holding in a Super Nova, a nuclear blast, the punches from the Hulk, a big ass piece of an amusement park ride......might cause her to feel alittle faint.

Study up alittle more on Sue Storm, and come back and try again.......:woot: :cwink:
