Johnny Depp would be a good choice for Tony Stark, but a better one for Dr. Strange.

You're right. He might be a little too weird for Tony Stark, though he could probably play anybody. He would be a good Strange. Anyway, my second choice for Stark/Iron Man would be Oded Fehr as many have already said.

I can't believe people are actually suggesting Keanu, its bad enough he RUINED Constantine. Karl Urban, kind of out of left field. I don't think he works for Tony Stark.

I'm still pretty worried about what Cassavettes is going to do to Iron Man if the project actually goes get off the ground.

I forgot about The Count of Monte Cristo. He is very Stark-like in that movie.

I could see Guy Pearce wanting the role too, if for no other reason than to get back at his buddy Chris Nolan for not giving him a part in the second Batman movie.

As for Caviezel, there's no way that he'd play the role of an alcoholic womanizer, his religious beliefs are really very strong if you've ever seen an interview with him.
