Same here. It's really good for the movie especially. Favreau sounded really excited about it, which of course is a good thing.

He said 30's and he may have hinted at younger 40's but I'm sure he said 30's. It's in the q & a thread.

He did say that he was glad that the role freed him from having to cast a 20-something actor. I think that's good but if you have sequels in mind(with the same actor reprising the role) then you probably wouldn't want to go further than mid-30's.

Twenties seems a bit too young. Iron Man is one of the few superheroes who doesn't require young casting. Why not take advantage of that luxury?

I still say anybody over 35-38 is going to bite us in the butt come sequel time, especially if there's a #3. I'd say the ideal age is 33. That way even by the time a #3 is out(God willing) he'll only be 40 or so.
