And I thought that RAO Corporation thing was hilarious.
It was one of those things they didn't want you to think too hard about.

Well, I think Shannon could've played him that way. But, I assume that wasn't what Goyer and Snyder were going for. So, he just did the job he was paid to do.
I suspected that might have been the case, which is why I said earlier that Blue might not have turned in as good a performance if he had been hired to play MOS' interpretation of Zod instead of SV's.
Still, though, I can't help but feel like another actor (even if not Blue) could have done both. I dunno.
I think it's because of the coldness Faora gave off. A little bit more calculating.
Oh, no question.
For me, it was just Zod's plan that didn't work for me. I mean, outright saying you'll hurt people and destroy Earth isn't as smart as saying something like "Help us create a new Krypton somewhere else" even if you're lying. The second way comes with less resistance and chance of failure.
I understand that they wanted to portray him as very desperate, almost to the point of being slightly unhinged, but they made him look rather unintelligent in the process.
Best Superman movie for me is still Superman: The Movie. Even though the ending is kinda crazy. It works better as a stand alone film I suppose.
I agree. I enjoy SII more than any other Superma movie, but STM is probably the best Superman film we've gotten so far.
