I just need your opinion if it's one of those so bad it's good type of movies like "Commando", "Showgirls", "Toxic Avenger" or "Killer Klowns from Outer Space"? or is it just plain bad.

Neither of those movies are so bad they're good. To paraphrase the excellent film Ghost World, they're "so bad, they've gone past good and right back to bad again". Being tongue-in-cheek bad isn't the same as being good at being bad.

And no, IMO Batman & Robin isn't so bad it's good. It's just bad, with some unintentionally hilarious moments.

It's a bad movie, no such thing as so bad it's good, at least not to me. But it is fun.

It's not really so bad it's good. More so ridiculous. So bad it's ridiculous. And that does provide for a few comical moments, but never where intended.

I'd say Ed Wood's films are among the very few films that are so bad they're good. They're not just funny, or corny, they're genuinely nice to watch.

I actually can't help but laugh everytime I see a clip of it on youtube or somewhere. So I kind of view it as a comedy now, but I still refuse to watch it again.

It'¡s not an Ed Woodian case. This is a "it's so bad it's bad" case.

Yeah, it's just bad. It's not SO bad that it completely circles the judging scale and ends up at "brilliant" again, like say...Hobgoblins, or Plan 9 From Outer Space.

It is somewhat of a comedy.

Alright, I'll say it.

Personally, I don't think Batman & Robin is a "bad" movie. In fact, I like the film. Are there some things I didn't like about it? Sure. Overall, though, I enjoyed it.

I don't think it deserves most of the bashing it gets.

I think it is so bad is good. Everytime this came up on TV I like to watch it and make fun of it. I am always in the mood for laughing.

No, this is not as "it's so bad it's good" movie. I saw it for the first time in like 10 years about a month ago (watching it with the Rifftrax commentary--priceless), but when I tried to watch it a second time I couldn't make it past the first hour. It's just...unbearable.

Tell me you didn't just compare B&R to Commando.

Commando is legendary.

The huge speech about the movie that Nelson does at the end of that Rifftrax is amazing.

Nope. Just plain bad.

Hey! What's wrong with Showgirls? I like that movie...

I don't get that "Cult Classic"-like feel that I get when watching say, the 1966 Batman film. Batman & Robin is just bad.

Cult classic? Pfffttt!! As if "B&R" belong in that.....it doesn't. And it's so bad, that it still suck. :p

It's so bad that it circles good and ends up right at bad again...it's literally so bad that it LAPPED ITSELF :o

Some people said it was the worst movie ever, some said it was the worst thing ever and finally some said it killed not only the Batman but also de comic book industry. Like apparently, because the movie was so bad, people would be ashamed to walk into a comic shop and as a result comic shop were running out of business. :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:
