Will Clark make an appearance in Gotham....to investigate Batman?

Clark is in Gotham.

I remember that picture from last summer. It has been a long time, since I've seen the picture.

It's a nice angle for both to be in each other's cities in their civilian personas. :woot:

In a way, I'm actually looking forward to them meeting as civilians even more than them meeting in their costumes.

I would find it even more interesting if Clark and Bruce get to like each other while being at each others throats as Batman and Superman.

I'd say ultimately, yes. Gotham was slipping into Hell before he became Batman due to corrupt or apathetic politicians and police officer who let crime run rampant. Not doing something so extreme would have resulted in things eventually getting worse.

As for the Rogues Gallery, I've never bought the fact that Batman is somehow responsible for them, as if they have no agency of their own to make their own decisions. The B:TAS episode "Trial" had the character of Janet Van Dorne say that the rogues would be causing terror, in one form or another, regardless if Batman was around or not. He may have inspired them to adopt more colorful gimmicks, but that's just aesthetics and he's blameless beyond that.

Spot-on.

They would be criminals either way, it's not like Batman was responsible for their upbringing or something like that.

I don't know... Of the big marquee names in the rogues gallery most, as BRUCE Wayne would say, "have issues".

I disagree. There are a few who are quite mentally unstable, but most aren't.

I wasn't being serious. But, contrary to the popular opinion, I think that Batman is pretty stable. To quote Grant Morrison:

What would such a man be like, realistically? This was a man who had saved countless lives, faced innumerable perils, and even prevented the destruction of the world itself. This was a master of martial arts, meditation, deduction, yoga and big business. This was a man who had tamed and mastered his demons and turned personal tragedy into a relentless humanitarian crusade.

Taking that man seriously meant I had to throw out a few of the accepted ideas about Batman as a semi-unhinged, essentially humorless loner struggling with rage and guilt.

Yeah, I don't think Batman would be quite s good at what he does if he was totally off his nut.
