yeah, we need the joker to be the same age as Batman, so they can grow old together..... I can imagine them sitting on some wooden rockers, rocking back and forth together, talking about the past

He can pull it off, I just wish he'd done way more movies to show that specific ability. Also I hate the idea he has a taint of Brokeback on him...

Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger may have scored the coveted role of The Joker in the Batman Begins sequel, according to press reports in Australia. The actor was reportedly offered the plum part last week and will star in the next installment of the film set to be released in 2008. Oscar-winner Robin Williams was reportedly desperate to land the role and The Da Vinci Code star Paul Bettany was also rumored to be in talks for the part. According to film website Moviehole.net, filmmakers wanted to cast an actor in the part of Batman's adversary who was roughly the same age as 32-year-old star Christian Bale. Ledger is also working with Bale on I'm Not There, a film in which seven actors embody different aspects of musician Bob Dylan's life and work.

If anyones seen 10 things I hate about You he's play a kinda crazy guy in that at the begining then crazy in love and acts very zany when he's singing on the football field.

I kinda liked that shows that he's open to being slightly whacky!!

I dont get the whole pretty boy thing.
When I hear the term pretty boy I think of James dean look alikes like Hayden Christensen, Leo Dicaprio, Jude Law. After watching all of Ledgers films I just dont see him that way. He doesnt look like he was cut out at the cupy doll factory like all the other hollywood pretty boys.

If I had only seen a Knights Tale I would think of him that way.
