Is inviting a girl to your house considered a date?

like waching a movie, at your house instead of having to go to the movie theaters, or take a walk around the neighborhood, instead of going to the park, stuff like that, would that be considered a date? or having dinner at your place instead of going out.

well if you have to ask, then it's gonna be another night of whacking off I'm afraid....

You're saying that a platonic relationship can stay that way via exclusive one-on-one interaction if there's sexual attraction between them?

Sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree. Two people cannot deny/ignore sexual chemistry no matter how much they *want* to stay "just friends". Inevitably, the relationship is going to evolve past that point. Now, what it evolves into is up to one or both people involved. However, engaging in "date-like" activities alone is only going to aggravate that desire. Unofficially, it qualifies as a date IMO.

Do you see what I'm saying?

I concur with Lightning Strykez. If there is a dynamic sexual chemistry between two friends, something can occur.

Who drive truck?!

I'm not sure on the whole "is it a date" thing, but reading this you sound like you're either lazy, cheap, or both?

To keep things form getting out of hand, I would suggest

1. going to the movie
2. out to dinner

IMHO

if a guy asked me to go to his house alone, I'd say no

i would say no.
because i have gone over to a guys house and had dinner and then he took his clothes off and said "well, what are you waiting for? we both know why we're here".
so if that was a date, it was the lamest date evah.:o

It depends on the girl and what your relationship with her is.

Bingo. My sister and I have gone to friends houses for an evening of playing cards and watching movies. It was never discussed as being a "date". It was just friends getting together.
