there too many people(with a limited knowledge of Gaming )that like to claim rip off like those that think God of war started the series for hack & slasher games other that fallow crowd too easily when some makes a statement like that.
which you'll always find some random poster say in a comments section or forum, some people feel it'll be looked upon this rather avoid moron's that will do that get others to potentially write it off for that reason .
With DD even though it would fit perfectly eve more so the captain America . if they make it unique but still similar to Arkham it'll be fine sleeping dog's is a loved game for that very reason they made a game of their own ran with it with this thinking
Yea totally. Its funny you mention God of War inventing Hack n Slash, because that drives me up a wall! Haha.
For me, in the end, if its a good game, its a good game, and thats all that matters. Thats all that should matter. If we had a list of every game that "ripped off" another game, well guess what, you would have
almost every game ever made haha.
Daredevil fits the "Arkham" mold perfectly. you could potentially ditch the Metriod aspect to it and bring in different gameplay elements that the Batman games don't utilize. Shadows of Mordor did a great job with the formula and a great game is a great game.
Daredevil could be a nonlinear game aswell, being a lawyer and working cases during the day to determine what path of crime you take down. It could all be connected to something bigger but I want a game that makes you feel like your genuinely fighting street level crime, and you decide how to go about it. If you fail, then you fail and must live with it. Be it a rape, kidnapping, murder, robbery
The small things have to have a big impact on your emotional level while playing.
A Daredevil game is an outlet to bring out the "anti-GTA" gameplay and the burden you carry preventing crime, instead of running around causing it. The Spider-Man games (while good) have failed at this so many times because they are afraid to go there and do it properly. Daredevil should be rated M right out of the gate, and have no limits, thats for sure haha.
