Is Marsden promoting X3?

I know this is pretty late in the game but something i've noticed among the new photos of the cast and crew at the recent premieres is the absence of James Marsden.

Does anyone else think that theres any conficts b/c he is in Superman Returns? Or do you think that his role is so small in X3 (basically a cameo) that it doesn't merit much promotion from him?

**I know this is the spoiler forum and all but i'd apprechiate it if everyone kept what happens to Cyclops in X3 to yourself (or in spoiler tags)...granted I think I know what does happen based on the script review last year but at the same time...since that was sooooo long ago and certain things have changed, I kinda don't know, ya' know?**

I've seen him interviewed a couple of times (so yes, he has been interviewed), but I can't go beyond that in so far as describing anything, because I don't think I can without spoiling the movie for you.

James wasn't at the Cannes premiere because he's filming a movie in the states.
