What were your favorite things in X3?

I would love to focus on the positive things of X3.
So this thread is dedicated to what worked for X3 or what you love about X3?

I'll start by saying that I love when Jean was powering up it reminded me of the Animated Series.

Also I loved when Jean was telepathically contacting Cyclops or Wolverine from great distances like she did in the Animated Series.

 

[The Apocalypse]

Favorite Scene would have to be either the scene at Jeans House where Professor X was killed..i shed a tear there or the Final Battle..that was pretty aweosme.

My favorite character would have to be Magneto. The acting was awesome and the way he used his powers in this one was incredible. The way he just crushed the car up like it was a paper was insane. Kitty was also cool to see on the big screen. She did a good job for someone not playing a huge role in the film.

Yeah and I agree it was cool we finally got to see that bond Jean and Cykes had that she was always able to connect to him when she is alive and needed him.

Favorite scene-The Final battle, just the way they each entered and stood in line was very reminiscenet of the X-men cartoons for me!!!

Favorite Characters-Storm, Magneto, Beast and Dark Phoenix:Good to Amazing performances by these 4!!!

B Xavier and Magneto at the beginning meeting Jean Grey for the first time.

3. Xavier versus Phoenix


Favorite character... Magento, Beast, and Storm. It was great to see my girl finally shine on the big screen

Other favs:

Magneto breaking the Mystique and Juggernaut out.

Xavier talking to the students before he notices the storm clouds

Wolverine in the woods.

Storm greeting Beast and then her reaction to the news about the cure.

The entire last battle. All of it.

i also liked the whole first 20 min ALOT and the whole battle of alcatraz

i loved the whole movie it was awesom

I really liked:

-The first two flashback scenes I feel were really well done, effects, acting, the whole thing just came across very well, settled some nerves on my part.

-Angel's cure scene was pretty well played out.

-The danger room sequence played out better on the big screen and actually had some better moments for character than those "emotional scenes" later in the movie(Wolverine ignoring the ongoing battle to light his last cigar off of some burning rubble, the whole theatre just acknowledged collectively how cool this dude is.)

-Beast was a decent character-but a think Nightcrawler would have been better considering the film's main theme.

-Magneto's siege on the mobile mutant prison.

-The return to Jean's home-I loved this scene, I was genuinely devastated-in a good way.

-GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE (magneto locking the family's car door was my favourite part, says more about him than his dialoge in this movie)

-The final battle seemed a little choppy, and I know things were cut, but overall it was pretty exciting on a number of levels.

-Logan's stand-off with Jean.

-The shaking chess piece.....spine-tingeling.

Things that annoyed me.......

-Most of the dialoge-too much exposition and forced one-liners.

-Magneto's reaction to Xavier's death, somewhat unexpected for a a supposed life long friend/rival (his exchange with Pyro in the woods stunk of "painting over the cracks " character work)

-Treatment of the background mutants

-Treatment of Cyclops and his death scene.

-Wolverine's Slice n' Dice in the woods-Mansion siege/ Berserker light.

-Mystique's fate. And what her character eventually does.

-No NightCrawler.

-Why is Angel in this movie????

My favorite scene is when Magneto is moving the Golden Gate Bridge. At the end, he is flying above and setting the bridge down on Alcatraz. I felt that had the most epic feel to it.

I loved everything Magneto did as usual.He & Beast were potrayed very nicely.The mutant fights was probably the best thing that the movie had going for it.Wolverine vs Juggs,Storm vs Callisto, Professor X vs Phoenix and etc... was excellent!I liked the Iceman vs Pyro but it was too short and we saw everything in that one TV spot.

My favorite characters:Magneto, Pyro, Beast & Wolverine.

However, I'm not pleased about them just throwing Angel into the movie just for the heck of it.Angel deserved at least some character devolpment.If we just cut all of Angel's scenes,the movie would be no different...I'm done ranting.

why didnt angel have a fight scene? pyro (walkin on the bridge to worringhton labs) could of seen angel flying, n created a flaming angel- to scare angel ...like in x-men evolution..that could of been a good scene..

funniest part-Juggernaut Kicks Wolverine and breaks part of the house

best charactor-Pyro, shows he is truly evil!

My favorite thing? The fact that this was a tragic love story between Logan and Jean. I hate that he has to kill her, but I love how he loves her! How he pursued her after she went off with the brotherhood. How he howls in agony while she's dying in his arms. It's so lovely to see rugged, tough Wolverine going to pieces like that!
