Hey I know many here have said that X3 is an hour and 40 minutes long but a friend of mine who works at a theatre in Brooklyn said that the actual running time of X3 is 2 hours and 15 minutes. My source is legit and the info is legit because this info is from the theatre itself.

blah blah blah. *waits for mods to delete the thread*

in the meantime

Just because you say that you have a friend and the friend is a legit source, doesn't incline us to believe you at all. You have no proff that we can see with our eyes so everyone will disregard your claim. Its not that i'm/we are being mean, but you have to understand how many rumors about the running time have been accumilated, it doesn't make sense for us to believe all that we hear/read/see unless there is visual proff........... like a link.

Besides, movie theater listings for running times aren't official at all.

Learn how to spell smart ass.Anyways I got the news from someone who works at the theatre so it's legit. There is only a small handful of people here who actually saw the movie.I'm not going to ***** if the running time actually is an hour and 40minutes.I will still enjoy the movie.

Look, the point is, you have to understand our weariness over it.

Can't you understand our point of view?

Someone just randomly comes around saying "I know someone who works at a movie theatre that said it's 2:15", but you have absolutley no proof to back it up?

Anyone can do that.

Here, look:

"I know someone who saw the movie who says that the movie is 3 hours long, and Cyclops is really the main character. He's legit!"

^ Does that make it so?

Now I'm not saying you're lying, but at least understand our weariness to blindly believing you. We have had credible sources say the movie was 2:15, only to be shot down later by reviews stating it was 1:30, or 1:50, or whatever.

I'd love you to be right... it means there's lots of footage cut from these press screenings, and could lead to a better chance of Cyclops surviving.

But Kinberg and Penn both stated the hour and a half mark sounds about right, so I'm more inclined to believe around 1:30 - 1:50.

Go back and ask him/her to describe every scene in the extra 30+mins. Then relay that information back to us.

yeah thats just not possible at this point...and if anything...as confirmed by the girl from Xfilms.net who saw the premiere in Mexico...we'll be lucky to get the 1hr50mins she claims...other than that...every major sight is putting it at 1hr44 or 43mins...every site except FOX itslelf...interesting. I still say though, that with a week to go they are atleast working on visual effects shots...as was the case with X1 and X2...just days (supposedly) before they hit theatres.

The brittish board of film classification (bbfc) have listed the exact film running time and number of frames.....

103mins and 53 secs

therefore the confirmed running time must be 1hr 44 mins

that means without reclassification in the next 5 days that will be the running time of the film.

http://www.bbfc.co.uk/recent/index.php?media=film

There may be a two hour fifteen minute runtime...with previews.

The computers at our theater initially had the time at 2 hours 15 minutes as well today..

On the contrary, later today, I just learned from one of the managers at our theater that the movie is actually/apparently 1 hour 44 minutes (or 1 hour 59 minutes with previews)..

It's not so cool that the movie isnt at least 2 hours. Should give it like about 2 1/2 hours of film time.

I agree with you

lol,...I thought that you were agreeing with yourself, Taiwarriorz..

i work at an amc theatre and we also had the film posted as 2 hrs and 15 min (2:30 including previews) and the managers had to change it because it was wrong... the film is about 1:40 - 1:45.

Heh...A fellow AMC employee!...That's exactly what was on our computers too (2hrs30mins) before it was verbally corrected...

Fantastic Four all over again
Sticking to your guns, eh?...

As I recall, I don't remember F4's running time causing all of this craziness...and I think I would know..F4 and X3 were the only movies that were bringing me to the forums back in summer '05...

Fantastic Four - Had alot of scenes cut out mainly Character Development Scenes for shorter run time & to get to the action quicker

X-Men The Last Stand - We know FOX has a Two Hour Cut done. But they seem to be sticking with the shorter version which probably like Fantastic Four cuts out alot of Character Development Scenes for shorter run time & to get to the action quicker

So yes I think its Fantastic Four all over again.

How do we know they have a two hour cut finished? Besides, I thought Ratner stated that he only removed a small clip and the rest of the scenes are being used in the movie . . . where is all of this director's cut stuff coming from involving the loss of numerous supposed character developing scenes?

The premiere in Mexico was around 118-120 minutes long with credits, 110 minutes without.

except fantastic four sucked... lol

People got pissed at Fantastic Four being crappy & there seems to be plenty of things here to get Fans pissed about X-Men 3. Its pretty much a no win situation for FOX here & also with the way the Writers on Xverse & Ratner lying their asses off about a few things. That does not help either.

How do we know all of this for sure? I sure as hell don't...

Aren't you jumping to conclusions here?
