Something I've been wondering.

When Wanda messed with his head Hulkbuster was able to KO him.

Somewhat calm vs Thor in Ragnarok showing tremendous strength.

The only time we see Hulk capable (powerful enough) to wield the infinity gauntlet he is the calmest we ever see him.

Just curious what y'all thought.

To be fair, when the hulkbuster KOed Hulk, he was starting to calm down and looked at the destruction they had caused.

Also, in Incredible Hulk, while fighting Abomination, Hulk at first has trouble, but after getting even angrier he starts to overpower Abomination. It's not outright stated, but it certainly appears that his emotional state has at least some effect on his strength level.

I've seen basically no evidence that the Hulk receives any kind of magical powerup from being angry. Which is to say, yes, he's stronger when angry... but only to the same degree and for the same reason that anyone gets stronger when they are angry: they are berserk, not feeling pain and not restraining themselves at all.
