Is the text in Dead Rising incredibly ****ing small? Seriousely, when I try talking to characters the text winds up being smaller then this and kind of mushed together. It's a great game, but I'm straining my eyes out trying to read stuff.

The text is the most complained about aspect of the game (Well, minus the save system, but thats a different thread). I had the problem even on my 26" Widescreen.

The save system is kind of a pain, but the text is what really gets me. I feel like I'm missing chunks of the story. :(

At least it has a save system. My Superman Returns game stopped letting me save after 40%. Thanks EA.

Eh there's not much to miss, it's either Otis telling you that he thinks someone's hiding out, or it's the person hiding out telling you to go away.

Guess that's good to know, I'm not either bothering to try and read what Otis has to say now. I heard people complaining about how often he calls, but damn I had no idea.

Yep, everyone's *****ing about it. It's the game not your tele.

I heard it was that if you didn't have an HDTV then the text was hard to read. Not sure if there is any truth in that though.

i started playin it on a 14 inch portable tv and yeah the text was miniscule but purchased a 23 inch samsung HDTV and the text is much larger and easier to read. I read somewhere dead rising was made from the ground up for HDTV's so its optimized for HDTV resolutions i assume.
