Ok even though my x box 360 crapped out and it will be a week before I can get back to playing it, Dead Rising rocked. I am u p to the bombs mission right now, and I am loving the freedom you have to play it however you like. It has a tight story with likeable characters, and I actually care about characters I have to save. Even though my first play through has been focused on finishing the story, I felt like I couldn't just leave a mother who had to watch her daughter devoured to die, and feeling heroic, I took her to safety. On my next play through I will focus more on achievements and saving people. Point is, the game is one of my all time favourites.

But I went off on a rant. Considering it's incredibly strong sales, a sequel att his point seems inevitable. So I was thinking...what do you guys want to see in a sequel?

WHF mentioned a city...that was a great idea. The sand box style of DR meets a GTA style city is amazing.

I w ould like to see a better save system too.

Online co-op with your own gang of survivors.

Much less escort missions, with the option to carry everyone.

You can upgrade vehicals like in the dawn of the dead remake's war bus, or land of the dead's dead reckoning.

Tanks. The one big thing i was disappointed about was seeing tanks in DR pics, then being told that it's only a boss battle.

Resident evil costumes and weapons.

a chance to join up with the army or special force teams and work your way through the ranks, kinda like a career

the oppotunity to take over and make certain neighbourhoods safe zones

maybe new monsters (zombie animals maybe?)

a longer story mode.

No ****ing otis calling every thirty seconds, and BIGGER TEXT.

I think the ultimate Zombie game would be pretty much like the infinite mode of Dead Rising.

I want a full city. Your only goal is to survive. Like D.R. You can earn points to level up and there are missions and stuff you could do, but nothing needed.

Nothing in the city would be re-spawning. Everything has one use and that's that. So it adds both a reality to it and kind of a pressure.

You basically see how long you can survive, you could leave the area at any time and be safe with the military, but that would be the end of them game.

That, to me, would be the ultimate zombie game. Dead Rising's Infinite mode, minus the depleting health and lack of saving, and in a full city with a lot of side missions.

I love the idea of the city, and going online with 40 players in a sorta "extra-angry zombie survival mode" would be kick ass

If DR2 has a problem, I want a patch.

Bruce Campbell as an unlockable player. Or Ash I should say.

Larger text, a whole interactive city. I'm talking about being able to go in every house, store, every room in them too.

When has Arnold fought zombies?

Mmmkay, I'm gonna post my ideas.

I would love for it to take place in a large, fictional, NY esque city. The game would start out normal for a little while, essentially a GTA game. Then zombies start popping up slowly, and you get to build your arsenal of weapons, and food supply to survive. It would then play like the Survival mode of DR, with the city of GTA, and good graphics. In the city, there would be stores, a mall, police/fire stations, houses, etc. Vehicles like cars, trucks, tanks, copters, and motorcycles would be available, though they would become scarce as the game goes on, and people flee the city. Basically, in the game, you'd have plenty of missions to do (not as many escorts), but none are required. You basically just have to survive for a week before the zombies are destroyed (1 hour = a day), so a total of 7-8 hour game, with infinite replay options. Finally, achievements would be numbers of killing zombies, places visited, and maneuvers performed, not achievements like completing missions.

I just upset myself with how awesome that game would be, and how there's not a chance in hell it's gonna happen.

Why you say that? This is the NEXT-GENERATION! I think this the only way a sequel to Dead Rising could be well recieved. Nobody would accept a sequel that takes place in another mall.:o

Because no video game company will make that.

I hope I eat my words.

I actually thought Dead Rising took place in an entire city/small town from some of the pics, I was kind of disappointed by the fact that it was just a mall. GTA: Dead City would be great.

Well, now that I think about it, there is a VC PC mod with zombies.

My wit is so sharp, I have to worry about my brain cutting itself every time I think!

The main character of Dead Rising looked like Arnold in an old build.
